Days of Future Past Omar Sy IS Bishop Thread

He looks great!!!!

I won't nit pick probably the most faithful looking X-men character to date!

I also think he looks great but I still think Nightcrawler is hands down the most faithful.

agreed.

My top I think would be:

1. Nightcrawler
2. OT Mystique
3. Bishop

I don't really think Nightcrawler was that faithful, what with all his scarring/tattoos and completely non-comics related sparkly costume thingie.

The only really visually faithful renditions we've seen are Professor X and maybe Beast.

Kitty Pryde, Azazel, and Blink looks pretty damn close.

I like the whole look of Bishop!

And I do think those purple details on his gun will have something to do with powers, I imagine they will glow once Bishop charges his mutant powers to his gun.

Just did research on Bishop. Didn't realize he was such a stud and important player!

I kinda of hope they have given him a fair bit to do....he was the only new future character on the pane.... Maybe that's a good sign?

if his power comes from his gun.. i dunno how id feel about that, its different but still

I understand with the tattoos but the suit he wore didn't bother me. You want to talk about suits, Beast shouldn't have been wearing one if we're talking about comic accuracy.

What's different, Bishop used guns in comics. First he has to absorb some blast of energy, then he can use his power. When he's discharged, he has to use gun.
Same with Sunspot, I wonder how he will use his power during night, many hours after twilight.

Where are you guys getting he will only use his powers through his gun.

one site said their close source got inside info about it.

Another site denied it, but first site posted again some days later saying a producer confirmed it.

I'm sure Sunspot can store energy, at least for a limited period. Solar panels store energy and people use that energy in their homes after dark. Cyclops gets his energy from the sun and he can use his blasts after sunset.

I don't know which cartoon did you watch, but in X-Men TAS he used guns.

Yeah and when he didn't have a gun he still used his powers from his hands, I remember that clearly

His powers were very similar to shaws if I remember right

Only when someone charged (Sentinel, Jubilee,..) him. If Sentinels shoot to him, he will use his power. In other situation when he can't use his power, he should use gun.

He absorbs energy directed at him and can shoot it back. He needs a gun so he can fight when he's not getting zapped by someone else.

Never heard about that, maybe you talk about Birdman.

And maybe I don't.

Cyclops blasts are powered by absorbing solar radiation. And his brother Havok absorbs cosmic radiation.

It is a good sign. He will probably get more importance/screentime than Blink, Warpath and Sunspot.
