And speaking of omega potential, would it be theoretically possible for Elixir to create a mutant out of a regular human being? And if so, could he "theoretically" choose the power he bestowed on that human subject?... Anyone?

That sounds interesting. The things that Elixir could possibly or theoretically due with his abillities due seem limitless.

They tried to force him to help them but he refused and ended up in a coma from which he has never awakened. While in a coma he has manifested psionic perceptions that have provided him with knowledge of the world. On several occasions he has risen to a lighter coma and manifested reality alteration power on a considerable scale although the effects are temporary and distorted like a dream. The effects always fade as he returns to a deeper coma. He affects a maximum of a 100 mile radius if I remember correctly.

Then you have someone like Jean with her unprecidented levels of telekinesis and telepathy. She can control atoms with her telekinesis. She can use her telepathy to essentially rip the primal force of existence out of someone else's body and claim and control it as her own

There are some mutants that have received very little attention and none recently that I know of. Holly-Ann Ember from the graphic novel The Aladdin Effect and Willie Evans who originally appeared in FF but fought the X-Men when his powers went out of control. Both are potentially omega level.
