That's fantastic--drop the scars and it'd be perfect. Looks like he based that drawing on Ledger, too (the last Joker drawing I saw from him had a very different face shape).

I really hate that kind of thinking. Why must there be only one thread for all Joker talk? Why cant there be a thread for his appearance, a thread for how he should act, a thread for what his overall plot might be, etc. Joker's a huge part of Batman, why should there only be one thread about him?Hell, maybe we should just have one thread in this whole section. Perhaps all talk about the sequel shuld go into one thread, since anything else is a waste of space. Or maybe all talk regarding superhero films could go in one thread. I mean, why do you need two threads to talk about superhero movies?

But anyway, rant aside, nice picture but I dont like the smile. Bermejo's an amazing artist, and I'd kill to be able to draw like him, but i just dont like the idea of a fixed smile on Joker. The way i've always put it is that Joker's should smile not because he's physically forced to, but because he's just so damn insane he finds everything funny. Besides, Joker doesn't ALWAYS smile. He shows other emotions now and then, and he should be allowed to move his face freely to express those.
