On Reading Reviews: A Different Vision for Us?

That's a good idea. Maybe at the bottom I could add that...but I don't know who would want to go out on a limb and risk inclusion...Fox could track our ISPs...hmmm....You did go out on a limb though with your mystery source...but it was not seen in a trailer or confirmed to have been filmed....

all you have to do is use our screen name on here.

OK if anyone wants me to put their name on the official Inner Circle poster let me know and I will put it on there somehow...I could probably name them myself but I wouldn't want to assume.

Hey what do you guys think an idea for X4 would be Magneto capturing Wolverine to get an antisyrum of the cure. That's how he could get his mutant powers back. Would that work?

I can't think about that right now. I will just be glad when X3 comes out so I can have some of my life back. My friends can't really stand being around me right now cuz all I talk about is X3. Even if they are trying to carry on a conversation about something else, I will be drifting off thinking about May 26, just nodding and saying "uh huh" and stuff like that.

well guys the final thruth is just coming closer... Do we still believe in the final cut? I do, and for sure the new scenes are gonna be about rogue, cyclps, angel and jean! I hope some action for rogue!

As i understand it , Rogue departs to get the cure just before the battle of Alcatraz?

If that's the case i'm having a hard time believing that , hearing that her friends are fighting for their lives (and those of others) in Alcatraz , she will not change her mind ar least temporarly.

If it's in the final cut , it will really be lame writing imo.

Maze, my friend, must you fall into the pool of prejudgment? Who knows what happens, and if it does - who's to say it won't be amazing writing? this movie got two thumbs up by E&R, and they are very credible. Whether this movie plays out like the comics or not, it is a good movie. No bad writing there. Bad writing/storytelling is not deserving of two thumbs up...

As I am watching X2, Ian McKellen talked about Angel...said he is the definition of a killing machine? That he would be very useful in the X-Men arsenal? Interesting, very interesting.

I read about that...

 Hmm....

Bamfer:)

No of course , i explained myself badly : i mean that from what we know about rogue if it occur at that moment ,unless and you are right on this one it is really greatly written ( that said which i doubt , the reviews in general don't note that the writing is extraordinary ) i can't see her taking the cure , at that moment ,that's not believable in my mind .

about E&R i don't agree everytime with their reviews ..
for example , if my memory function well , they called Batman forever the best Batman movie? A nice one yep imo .the best one ,sure it is not.

we'll see :)

In a new French trailer, the Cyclops effects are touched up and Storm's tidal wave is still in it...hmmm....

New french trailer...special effects have been improved in some scenes...nothing new though.

P.S. I am planning on buying my tickets at the theater today and I intend to ask the manager a number of pointed questions re: our theory. I hope they're ready for me. I will report back my findings.

I guess it's over then....no chance of a final cut? How logn does it take for them to usually lock a runtime?

It may have been a long shot but we did get something added according to some viewers: the customary cerebro door wipe at the beginning. I had a feeling it would be something small like that.

EW has a picture of Wolverine and Jean. Their caption says that Wolverin will fight with Jean.
This picture support our theory about Cyclop being in the final battle because no way will FOX let how the ending turn out on a National Magazine. They won't make money that way if people know that Wolverin fight Jean and end up killing her.
That is why the alternate version will have Cyclop, Angel, and Rogue joining the battle.

Three people including myself said that the running time is around 114-115 minutes.

Right. There is no way. But some people will fall for a practical joke every time, even after they got fooled by the same people before (Jean in White House pic, X2 novelization).

I hope you guys are right...but at this point, I don't think Fox even cares that all the fans know the exact movie, scene-by-scene. I think even believing that they are holding something back from the critics, only to reveal it for fans on the 26th, is giving them too much credit. Fox wanted to make a commercial film that pleased the critics and non-fans. I'm prepraring to be majorily disappointed on the 26th....:down

BUT I really hope they are trying to fool people (ie. Jean in the White House), but isn't it too late? They've screened the film for ALL the critics, wouldn't they have to change their reviews for the new film?

And I'm glad you guys aren't settling for a rushed, under-developed film...and making excuses for the filmakers as well haha :spidey:

Dude what are you talking about. Fox monitor this website a lot. Of course they care what we know. We're are the one that will be watching the movie multiple of times.

You need to stop being so negative and have faith in Fox and the true believer.

The critics have seen the movie as to how it will play out, but it doesn't mean that alternate ending can't be added.

In the new EW article, Ratner says he was still working on color correction. This was beginning of the month. The critic saw a semi-finished product, but not finalize.

do you think they deleted a whole scene that has *SPOILER* wolverine walking towards jean as his flesh is burned off and we see his adamantium skelton over and over but he keeps movie forward to her?????? I mean lots of reviewers have seen and discussed this scene in the movie... you think they just made it for a joke?

A lot of places are claiming the movie is around 114 now, and if you figure it - thats an extra six or seven minutes tacked onto the movie. I am thinking those extra minutes would be best utilized after that scene,
Logan tries to kill her, she lays dead - and suddenly comes back, searing Wolverine with Huge flames of energy from within her. She's still alive
, and this is where the extra couple minutes come in. cyclops comes back to save everyone from Jean, including herself. Like I said, if I massive wave of rushing water can't keep Jean dead, niether can
Wolverine's claws
.

Not for a joke, but for a surprise ending with the rest of the X-men. Killing off the Phoenix with just Wolverine claws is just way to easy.

Can you explain the lack of the Storm tidal wave, which appears in almost every commericial and trailer but is not in the version shown at press screenings. Or the lack of the Phoenix firebird effect, which was said by Simon Kinberg to be a spectacular effect? We are not making excuses for anything, just that there are different versions and that the version shown at press screenings was not the final version.
