I disagree. It was great seeing Vader again, and it's always good to see Heath Slater get his ass kicked, but I saw the way Vader walked up the steel steps and got between the ropes. Even on a TV-only part-time schedule, I would fear for his safety.

Since there bringing past wrestlers for a match for each Raw to celebrate the upcoming 1000th Raw episode..I wonder who's next!?,A nice chance&time to have Goldust vs Cody!

I wonder IF Lita would wrestle a match or perhaps Trish vs Beth!

A peach you say?

Ditto. The Mastodon is a real monster.

I could eat Peaches for HOURS!

I'd even like if Vader had maybe a sqaush match every few weeks + 1 or 2 PPV matches a year.

Yes, he's 58 years old but he looked in top form and he flew around that ring and didn't miss a beat. I'd be a-OK with him staying ground based power.. Not sure I'd want him risking anything on the top rope.

When he bent down, he look like a two-foot ball.

Hopefully he looses more weight.

I don't know man. I marked out for him at first, but when I saw him get into the ring, he moved like my grandfather used to. On moral grounds alone I would be opposed to having him back in the ring, even on a monthly basis.

Going Up the steps was his one flub. Other than that I honestly think he seemed in better over shape and form than the last time I seen him on TV. I wouldn't mind one last Hall of Fame run that lead into merchandising upto or including a DVD on his career.

Agreed!

I don't think Vader could work a regular schedule but I'd love to see him make occasional apperances or have a brief run. He needs to lose some more weight and keep gettign in shape but all things considered he didn't look bad in there.

His girth is more..."considerable"...than in his prime but it seems like he's lost some weight recently and looked a LOT better Monday than the last time we saw him in WWE. He certainly didn't embarrass himself the way he did when he wrestled Batista.

He still has the monster heel attitude..which most of the so called monsters today have no clue how to get over in their ring psychology.

The problem is, that did not look like a flub to me. It looked like an old man struggling to walk up stairs. It was great to see him again, but no, I do not think the ring is the right place for him right now.

Arda Ocal (@arda_ocal) of theScore Television Network once again sat down with WWE Hall of Famer, Bret ‘The Hitman’ Hart. Highlights:

On Wrestlemania 8 with Roddy Piper and his chance with the Intercontinental Title.
"When I realized I was going to wrestle Roddy Piper, my gut instinct told me that Piper was going to keep the title for a while, and I would sort of be back up to him. It didnt work out like that, and I’m glad it didn’t because I kind of had my heart set on a good healthy long run as the Intercontinental champion. I thought at the time I got the title that I earned it and I wanted to have my chance. When i lost it to “The Mountie” I thought ‘They never gave me my chance.’”

On Piper ‘passing the torch’ to him and other wrestlers not doing the same

“For him to pass the torch down to me, kind of thing, was a pretty big step for me. At that time a lot of wrestlers didn’t want to make that kind of effort for me, and I’m not sure why or what their arguments might have been. So many guys when I look back on my career, like even when I won the World Title I was supposed to go over on ‘Warrior’, i would have gone over on ‘Warrior’ at the ‘Rumble’, never happened. I was supposed to wrestle Jake Roberts first at ‘Survivor Series’, never happened,” ... “its too bad in the case of Jake Roberts, he’s a guy that, I had this great career and never wrestled Jake Roberts one time.”

On creating the ladder match and Shawn Michaels stealing the idea
“[Vince] told me to pick anybody I wanted, I said ‘I’ll pick Shawn’ because I was good friends with Shawn back then. I went to Shawn and said ‘We’re going to do a ladder match’ and he didn’t know what it was either. I tried to explain it to him. I knew it was a million dollar idea. Once I showed him how to do it I knew it would be a great idea” ... “And then Shawn stole then idea from me. It was the idea that was the the million dollar idea. A lot of guys could have had a great ladder match, a lot of guys have. But it was the idea that I brought forth that they stole from me.”
Odd quote at the end considering that Shawn/Bret did have the first ladder match. Don't see how the idea was stolen.

IF you look at it again he only seemed to have trouble for barely a second,After that he walks up the rest of the steps&go through the ropes just fine,Ring work wise he seemed in shape and better than he did a few years ago!!

I don't think he needs much safety except lose more weight But he has lost 60 and and IF he keeps losing more then that'd be great for him&a possible last run!

Wow, it's awesome to see Big Van Vader again and Lawler was right that he looked exactly the same as if he just got out of suspended animation. He could be a great asset to the current WWE.

I think he still has a ways to go towards making a comeback but I'd prefer limited appearances. I wonder if they'll set up a storyline to bring in his son.

you've thought about this way too hard, to come off with that description

I'm like the T-800 with hot chicks, I scan the vitals quickly!

Vader apparently wants to make a comeback while he still can. Seriously.. Give him one super sqaush a week Vince. I'd watch that over Rybak...

Love to see him back as a heavy for Big Johnny that just worked matches now and then, kinda likew the Boss Man's role when he came back in 98, but with less ring action.

I don't see HBK ever claiming to have invented the match it's just his Ladder match with Razor is seen as the one that made the match famous, and Bret didn't invent either, I read it was Bad News Allen back in Stampede.

Bret's comments about Warrior and Jake were odd as well since the timeframe's don't fit.

Yeah perhaps!

His son is nothing like him, so it might be a good idea to not make the connection at all.

After last night's Raw, Mick Foley posted the following on Twitter, which Paul Heyman re-tweeted and agreed with:
"Another excellent match involving @HeelZiggler . I think I detect some type of trend here."

Ziggler is a badass.

I was wondering who'd fill that Shawn Michales esque roll when Morrison left. But who needs Morrison when Ziggler is pretty much better in every category. Dude should've been ME level already, by thats obvious.

I would have Vader do a couple more squashes leading to a big PPV match.Vader vs. Sheamus or Vader vs. Punk.Putting one of those two over would be great. Also I think a 2013 HOF class of Vader and Mick Foley co-headlining would be awesome considering their history.

Ziggler is a workhorse. He fits right along side Mchaels Perfect, and Hart.

I'd love a Ziggler face turn and going solo!

Awesome Bryan Tweet:

Goat face is a horrible insult. My face is practically perfect in every way. In fact, from now on I demand to be called Beautiful Bryan.

While I loved Vader's appearance last night, I do not want to see him make a comeback. It was great for a one night type of deal, but it would not work beyond that.

Vader had a much bigger gut and was slow to get up at one point. He looked good given his age, but not great by any means.

He would have to be limited to what he did last night in the ring and I rather leave the memories alone so to speak. One or two more appearances might not hurt, but I do not want to see a full on come back.

An interesting note about Foley I heard on PWInsider today was about how Mic cannot handle the flashes from cameras without getting migranes now and he cannot sit in front of a computer cscreen for long periods of time without getting headaches. Foley said they were from the number of concussions he suffered in his career.

It's sad
