Once Upon A Time In Wonderland

Well I hope that this is not the case with Big J here. Though I must say that while Regina was twisted by lost love (and the controlling "love" of a parent), Rumple on OUAT was turned villainous by his grasping for power. Sure, his long possible redemption is about love (for his son, for Belle) but his turning to darkness was nurtured in his weakness and cowardice, which is why his grasp for power was so tight he let his son go. In many ways Cora was similar. She ripped her own heart out for the sake of power. I hope that the villains in WL are also allowed to be villains. I mean, they can have a bit of a sob story, the producers are right, everybody was a child once. I think the mark of the difference between hero and villain is as they say, leaving childish things behind in childhood. Or as my mother always says: GET OVER YOURSELF!! Jafar could have a terrible life as a young child that leads him on a journey towards the dark arts and being a villain. It would be and explanation though, not an excuse.

Anyone else think the Knave lost his heart in more ways than one?
But you could argue that Rumple did it out of love and fear. He didn't want to "leave" his son the way his father left him. He was prepared to fight in the ogre war until that seer chick told him his future.

And I.thought this episode was boring. Maybe I'll give it a rewatch to be sure. Although, Jafar was great. The actor actually sounds like Disney's Jafar, which is more than I can say for Peter Pan.

I liked the Knaves Care Bare joke.

The Queen of Hearts footmen's David Bowie/Aladdin Sane face paint was cool.

The Ratings for this show is not looking to good. If this show only gets one Season I guess that's fine but if they bring anything from this they need to bring Jafar into the Orginal show because Naveen is great as Jafar.

I believe Red Queen will be revealed as Anastasia!

Well over 15k checked into get glue which isn't bad at all

Just bring Jafar over to Once Upon A Time after this is done & call it a day

As long as they let the season play out. I have no illusions about anything beyond that.

ABC needs to stop putting new series in that ****ing timeslot.

Why the hell did they stray from the original idea and put this on now instead of during Once's gap? This show is actually good and doesn't deserve such a horrible time slot .

Rumple hobbling himself was done for the sake of his son. But after his transforming into the Dark One? Yeah, most of his actions after that were about reveling in his power and his choice of power over his son was why he was left alone.

I think this show is done in the next few weeks! And there's something missing about this show. I just don't feel attached to watch the show unlike I am with OUAT.

It's still better than the SHIELD show. There's that at least.

I am surprised they haven't already pulled it. It came in 3rd in ratings and last in demos. Even Vampire Diaries beat it in the demographics. Cue ABC "this was always meant to be a limited series"

Damn... Damn... DAMN!!! :cmad:

Granted, I was all for a limited series format, for most tv shows actually. But the lack of ratings success means TPTB will be less likely to give us more OUAT material. I would have loved a trip to OZ or a OUAT Arthur and Merlin mini series (maybe looking at life of Arthur as a boy much like the Disney film, only more mature). Hell, even a OUAT Herc show would be cool. Alas. :csad:

if they keep it on and don't really care about it's ratings.. why not just move it to friday? might actually do better

I would think they would just pull it now and show it in Onces slot when it went on hiatus.

i think a hiatus now would be a nail in the coffin... if betrayl is getting canned.. just push revenge back an hour, and put wonderland after once.

Yeah, they blew their opportunity to use that scheduling strategy the second they set it to air in their deathslot. There's no going back now.

I say Once at 7. Since before Once is a repeat of the previous Once. Then Wonderland at 8. Or switch it around. Which way does not really matter & let Revenge go at it against The Walking Dead at 9

They're not going to move OUAT around to attempt to salvage this.
