Okay, for those of you who have read the recent Wizrd article, (and for those of you who haven't,) I noticed something quite possibly, (sadly,) hilarious.
There was one bit that Tom Breevort points out that he hated the idea brought in the Parallel lives graphic novel, that MJ knew all along that Peter was Spidey from the start
While I can appreciate that it does confuse some aspects of the past, his main gripe is that, in his words, 'it changes everythig I read over the last 20 years, I hated it as soon as I read it.'
Personally I appreciate the fact that they were trying to develop MJ's character more, and I really do think, for all intents and purposes, it really did work.
But the thing that gets me is, Breevort, (in his words,) HATED the fact that a team came along and retconned what he read over the last 20 years with MJ.
With all that's being, (overtly,) hinted at us about OMD and MJ, it seems that his statements could be highly ironic? He's one of the people that could possibly be retconning everything WE read wth MJ over the last 20 years
