He said he'd been SM since he was 15.
Was it said somewhere else that he was now in his mid-twenties? Maybe that's how I arrived at 10 years

Welcome to the Marvel sliding timescale. Stuff like that happens all the time, like Reed Richards fighting in WWII or Iron Man's origin being set in Vietnam. Franklin Richards seemingly ages at about the same rate as Dick Clark.
I don't think it's that big of a deal, just an inherent oddity with Marvel continuity that needs to be accepted. Stuff like the aforementioned examples are typically ignored anyways.

I'm calling it now: ASM #666 will be when Mephisto lays his cards on the table.
There's obviously a bigger scheme in the works. OMD may have been the first time he appeared to Spider-Man (was it?), but he's been involved with Spidey as recently as the Unmasking, where he resurrected Beck and used him, Miss Arrow, and Spidey as pawns in some (as of yet) unknown plan.
they've played that hand before.Mephisto is like the devil right. He granted Pete and Mjs wish to save aunt May as long as they gave up each other. I think it would be great if aunt May turned out to be a skrull. Since the devil likes to screw with people. Having Pete having to give up everything for someone who wasn't his aunt would be a great F-U to people.
As per the Mephisto thing...he really didn't GET anything out of the deal.
It made zero sense.
He got to alter history, change the present, (partially mindwipe) the entire marvel universe (heroes, villians, and regular joes) and created a new superhero to fight evil. (whether it is MJ or not, tho we know it IS.)
And he made an old lady live longer.
For all this...what did he GET out of it??Anyone????
Isn't he the laughing stock of villians now?
Pete supposedly remembers in a part of his soul his marriage, tho he is written to show no sign of that.
Hmmnnn....
What about if Aunt May is a skrull?
Peter will find out he's given his marriage for a skull...
Not really. Thanks to BND, this story is taking place looooooooong before SI.
Peter has attended his 10 year high school reunion. The guy is AT LEAST 28 - 29 yrs-old.Was it said somewhere else that he was now in his mid-twenties? Maybe that's how I arrived at 10 years![]()
Does he look YOUNGER now? Or just more pathetic.

"New" reality:
ALMOST 30 and living with his elderly aunt... broke and riding a bicycle... incapable of honesty or a commitment with the girl he loves... but apparently ok with just shacking-up with her...

Dude, I read the whole thing (OMD) on Friday for the first time, and that was the first thing that came to my mind: All this bad writting to make Spidey cooler, for new readers, and he becomes a super loser?Peter has attended his 10 year high school reunion. The guy is AT LEAST 28 - 29 yrs-old.
