I think with NowufaceDoom taking Mine and JB's advice, we are all caught up.

Everyone who has been approved is on the roster.

NowufaceDoom: No other Iron Man app will be accepted until you get things straightened up, so don't worry. Just don't take too much time or that temporary hold will go away faster than MB's virginity.

And I don't mean him and a chick since that's never going to happen. :o

Man I'm dying to start IC posting.

Hey, Logan, what do you think of that PM I sent you?

Aye Aye Cap'n :stark

Hey guys, I was thinking about putting up a new banner.

I mean for Season I we used Victor Creed's banner, and for Season II we used Twylight's. I was thinking that we could make it a tradition of creating a new banner each season, and my idea is the we henceforth make it a competition to see who can come up with the best possible banner for the One Universe RPG. Everyone in the RPG could cast their vote and thats how a winner could be decided. I think it would be great to see everyone's art/manips/whatever.

The only rules that I could see as neccissary are as follows

1. The picture must contain characters from both the Marvel and DC universeses.

2. The picture must contain, oh lets say no less than 10 characters total with an even ratio of Marvel to DC. For instance if you use 10 characters than at least 5 must be Marvel and 5 must be DC.

3. Nothing obsene or vulgar is allowed in any way. Just because people like Tony an Dinah got together that doesn't mean I wana see em' gettin it on in Batman's cave.....thats not exactly the merger I'm looking for.

4. Keep in mind this is One Universe, not Marvel VS DC. There is no need to have Superman ringing Thor's neck, or Cap Beating Batman to death. We work together....so lets see some smilin faces....well at least on those who smile.....Batman an Wolverine tend to be a little lack luster some times.

5. Use any style you want. Art work, photo manipulation, computer generation, its all fair game.

The only thing I haven't been able to decide on is whether or not we should open the contest to the entire Hype, but keep the voting up to us. However whenever we do it, voting will begin....lets say, a week after the first entry to give everyone enough time, and hopefully by the time the contest is over we will be ready to begin IC posting.

Sound good to everyone?

I like

Although I won't be entering (got the artistic talent of a blind torso) but I'll look forward to see the entries :yay:

Here are my two entries (I like the second one better):

OUbanner2.bmp

Good work Blacklight.

Well with his entry the contest has begun and voting will begin one week from now.

I still deciding on what my entry would be if any.

Just wondering, is anyone planning to write up a summary of the events of Season 2 in the introduction?

I would but I doubt I'm the most competent as I was not around most of Season II and am still in the proccess of reading most of it.

I would, but I don't have the time.

Maybe people could write and pm little summaries for their characters, then we could edit/put them together. It would at least distribute some of the workload.

Not a bad idea. Everyone who is currently playing and/or played last season should write a summary and post it here. I or JB will then post it as a summary/synopsis at the begining.

From my biography, extended a bit for more detail. I'm not expecting all of this to be in a summary, but this could give you all an idea of Dent's key moments in Season II:

Harvey Dent grew up in Gotham City, raised by his abusive, alcoholic father. As soon as he was old enough, he escaped and left for law school. Becoming a successful attorney, Dent earned a job in the District Attorney's office in New York City, where he tried unsuccessfully to build a case against Wilson Fisk, AKA The Kingpin of Crime.

He was only supposed to be visiting Gotham, attending a fundraising gala. But the murder of Carl Finch at the hands of The Joker left Gotham without a District Attorney, and Dent agreed to temporarily fill the role. But once in office, he realised that he had a chance to finally make a difference, and do some good. He soon declared war on crime in Gotham - focusing on powerful gangsters Carmine "The Roman" Falcone and Sal "Boss" Maroni - and enlisted the aide of Commissioner Gordon and the mysterious Batman as his allies.

But since starting his mission, Dent has been faced with serious tests of his commitment. His wife, Gilda, was kidnapped by Scarecrow and Electro, in a plan orchestrated by Falcone and Maroni. Close to backing down, it took the support of Batman for Dent to find his resolve, and stand up to his tormentors. With the help of Batman, Dent was reunited with Gilda, and Scarecrow and Electro were apprehended.

He was only supposed to be visiting Gotham....but hasn't left since his return. Perhaps this is where he's meant to be. Harvey Dent has been newly appointed as Gotham's permanent District Attorney. But during his acceptance speech, in front of a crowd of cheering Gothamites, Harvey and Gilda were gunned down in an assassination attempt. Their fate now hangs in the balance...

Here's mine:

Hulk:

During Galactus' invasion of Gotham City, the one known as Bruce Banner had escaped his prison and using a serum developed by Batman and Beast, finally had control of the behemoth that dwelled inside of him, and became a key part in the battle against Galactus, but has since lost control of the Hulk and is now on the run from the military...

Kyle:

After the destruction of Oa, and Hal Jordan, Green Lantern of Sector 2814, had valiantly agreed to become Galactus' new herald, Parallax, the last remaining Green Lantern ring had searched and found a new wearer in the form of Kyle Rayner in New York. Since then he has faced foes such as Major Force and Sinestro, slowly getting use to his new role as the last Green Lantern, but he will soon find out he may not be alone...

Deadpool:

Wade Wilson, the merc with the mouth known as Deadpool, has returned to his old, murderous, comedic, fourth-wall breaking ways, even teaming up with the new Green Lantern, Kyle Rayner, along the way. No one knows what the mentally unstable product of Weapon X has been up to, but he has recently received a contract to, and is right now planning to assassinate the X-Men's mentor, Professor Charles Xavier...

Spider-Man

A freak accident involving a radioactive spider turned nerdy Peter Parker into the Webbed Wonder - Spider-Man! It wasn't long into Peter's career when he learned the greatest lesson of all: with great power comes great responsibility. Living with that mantra in his heart, Peter has fought alongside the likes of Superman, Captain America, and many others. Recently, however, the young hero has been corrupted by a mysterious black suit. Spider-Man's morals have been dulled in favor of his personal impulses. As if that wasn't bad enough, Spider-Man's behavior is starting to shift from selfish to aggressive.

This Season, the greatest battle lies within.

Supergirl

For years, Clark Kent has thought that he was the last survivor of Krypton. However, moments after his ship rocketed away from the doomed planet, his cousin, Kara Zor-El, was jettisoned into space as well. Kara's ship was lodged into a large piece of space debris, and her flight was postponed. Many years later, Kara's ship was reactivated after being knocked loose by Galactus's mighty vessel. The Fantastic Four investigated a crash site in Kuwait where they found Kara - who had been in suspended animation for years. What's more surprising is that DNA tests confirm that this new girl is a blood relative of Metropolis's protector: Superman.

Everyone is asking the same thing: who is the new girl?

Keep in mind that not everyone will be mentioned in the summary. It's only going to be a few paragraphs for the entire season, so only the major things and players will get mentioned.

Nightcrawler:

After being rescued from The Penguin's mutant slave trading ring by Batman and Wolverine, Kurt Wagner was sent to Xavier's School for Gifted Children. At a benefit for mutant-kind in Gotham City, he saved many civilians during Lobo, the Herald of Galactus's attack. After Galactus was defeated by Earth's heroes, Kurt was sent to Gotham to survey the destruction. While there he aided Batman in rescuing Harvey Dent's wife from Scarecrow and Electro. Nightcrawler is currently attempting to hunt down The Penguin and end his slave trading forever.

Should I do one for Doc Ock even though he was absent from last season?

If you want/if he was included in anything major.

Forget it, he wasn't around last season, and in the first season he was dispatched fairly quickly. He's gonna make some noise this season though. I promise you.
