"One Universe" RPG SEASON III SIGN-UP FORM
Screen Name: Logan Howlett
Character you would like to play: Alexander "Lex" Luthor
Powers: No powers. Money.....is power.
Brief biography of the character's history: Lex Luthor was born into the world famous Luthor family made popular by his father Lionel luthor. Lex was raised to be a warrior in buisness and in combat. He was trained from very early on to be without weakness, without mercy, guilt, or anything that would make him less than what his father desired....A TRUE Luthor heir.
Lex Luthor grew to take control of his father's company LuthorCorp, and eventualy renamed it LexCorp. He has managed to take control of nearly every aspect of Metropolis' economy and branched his hold world wide. Lex Luthor is possibly one of the most powerfull buisness men in the world today.
As it relates to the superhero world at large, Lex Luthor has expressed a great deal of interest in several of earth's heroes. First of all being Captain America, of whom he helped to restore to health after thawing his bodie from the frozen state it was in. The next is the obvious conflict that he has with the hero known as Superman. Lex has had dealings with Superman several times in the past and has grown a strange hatred/curiosity about the alien. It is because of the ackoledgement of the superhuman race that Lex will begin to inact several new projects with reprecusions far greater than even he expected.
List a few reasons why you have chosen that character: Lex Luthor can be vital to the continuation of several chain of events. Aswell, the introduction of my new ideas can very well serve this game possitivley over all.
What can you bring to this game?: Experience, a completely different demeanor than any character I have ever played before, and a great longing to make Lex stick out in an outstanding way.
Color and font you plan on using for your character's speech: Georgia, purple, size 4.
How many times do you intend on posting a DAY IN the RPG: As many as needed, which may be more demanding with Lex.
Please provide a small sample post with original content in the style that you plan to write your character in (must be at least 3 paragraphs long and contain at least 1 line of dialogue):
The Night air was still, not calm, just still. It was almost as if in this open room, on this balcony, and even in my mind, time.....had come to a halt. I allowed this to over take me. It wasn't a feeling of relaxation, or one of uncomfortable silence, no instead was just nothingness and that was what I needed. I have spent so much of my life planing, waiting, taking drastic action or no action at all, but always with a purpose, with a goal. I never allowed myself to stop before, never allowed it to all just go away. However in this moment, I was silenced. I was silenced from the inside out. I stared blankly over the balcony, waiting for nothing and no one, just staring into the skyline. Finaly however, this was to be interupted.
"Mr. Luthor?"
"Yes Mr. Donaldson? What do you want?" I say slipping back into all of what comes with my normal process.
"Mr. Luthor, I needed to get your signature on the aproval forms for the new project lists."
"Is that so?" I say turning towards him and away from the skyline.
"Yes sir. Here you are. All project are accounted for.....even those you wanted to be personaly delivered to the third party contacts." He says handing me a thick file.
"Good. And I take it that they were the only ones to recieve thsi information? There havent been any complications I should be aware of?"
"Thats correct sir. No complications what so ever. I personaly took care of every detail myself." He says with an insipid Harvard graduate grin.
"Fantastic." I embelish as I look down at the file and apply my signature in the appropriate areas. I hand him back the file and reply, "You may leave now."
"Yes sir. Thank you sir."
Without a second backward glance he exits the room cheerfully, as if I just sent him away with money for the toy store. I redirect myself to the desk in my office. I press a red button located at the top of my phone and speak into it saying "Did he check out? Where there any complications?"
The voice on the other end responds, "Yes sir he cleared perfectly. No complications."
"Good........Have him disposed of imediatly."
"Yes sir." The voice responds.
"Oh.....and make sure his family recieves a nice sympathy card for his accident along with their compensation check."
"Consider it done sir."
Soon the voice is heard no more. Quikly I take my seat at my desk and poor a glass of brandy. The world is silent no more.
