The difference is that I've never gone over-the-limit with Hulk. But surely you can say the same for Big Blue, right?

My dear friend, you memory is as short as Byrd's temper. In the very beginning, you were far over-the-limit - nearly one month. I warned you that one month is past the point of "permission." You posted, I didn't put up an application, and we all lived happily ever after.

I have one, hyphenated word for you: Spider-Man. Otherwise, you may be right about my posting an application. To be honest, I don't even have a Superman application pre-typed. (Then again, I didn't have a Spider-Man application pre-typed either.)

In short, I never have and probably never will post a Superman application. That's the sad reality I have come to accept. Besides, I don't need the pressure of being your successor - not after all the well-deserved praise you've gotten.

Just make a pass at Ultimate Batman, and I'll e-slaughter you. That's not a threat, it's a promise. And I know that'll become awful tempting anyway, with the glory that is TDK coming just over the horizon.

I'm pretty sure the One Universe doesn't exactly have a Ronin, at least not in the form of Maya Lopez. This RPG isn't based off of the normal/current Marvel and DC continuities.

So when's the continuity cut-off point?

I'm after a character that isn't super-powered up to the eyeballs

Technically, there is no cutoff point. This is an original RPG continuity, spanning from the heroes' and villains' origins. We've developed them and the universe from that point on.
