I know bad grammar is a pet peeve for people, but damn. Come on.

.... There is a huge difference between through and threw. Biiiiiig difference. One is a verb. One is a preposition.

And I'm sorry if my grammar Nazi-ism pisses you off, MB, but this -is- a forum where people are expected to be competent writers to get their points across easily, especially because it is an RPG. I'm not saying these people are incompetent, and that they can't write. Only that being corrected on mistakes like that helps people to become better writers in the future.

This is what I do. I wasn't everyone's editor in high school because they liked me. I was everyone's editor in high school because I catch every little mistake. I do it when I read books. I do it when I read other people's papers, IMs, blogs, websites, etc. It's just. What. I. Do. Do I do it to be mean or malicious? No. Is it absolutely on purpose? No. It's just a big pet peeve of mine, and I like to think that pointing it out gives the other person the opportunity to correct their mistakes in the future if they so choose.

So screw me.

Might want to avoid making such an open invitation 'round these parts. :oldrazz:

Psh. It's not like anyone would take me up on the offer OR the threat anyway.

JB, for some reason I can't see your last IC post. My control panel tells me it's been made, but I can't see it in the actual thread.

Thanks for the correction, Shlee. I'm an English Literature graduate, and little things like using "through" instead of "threw" really annoy me. So seeing that I myself did it makes me hang my head in shame. :(

Sorry for my absence ladies and gentlemen. I shall be putting up a Deadpool post shortly and It'll fix a few continuity issues.

Wow, I've written and deleted my first post as Manchester Black about twenty times, this is proving much more difficult than I thought it would be.

My plans are going to be even more difficult without a player controlled Lex Luthor too.

Guess I'll have to put some more thought into it.

I can't see either of your posts, although it does say SF is the last one to post.

It's all good Keyser! I was very surprised when you did it, but I think the three of you were reading each other's posts and responding, and that's why it got a bit out of hand, you were just using what the other had used. :P

And I was surprised, I'll admit, to see you had made the mistake, since all of your writing that I've ever read has been very well done, no spelling mistakes, no grammatical errors.

And I didn't mean to come off as a *********e. :(

I'm surprised I did it myself because thing's like that bother me. But at least I did it in the OOC thread where it's not a big deal.
