One Universe RPG: Season III OOC Thread

Thinking of joining up again. What's been done with Dr. Doom or Lex Luthor lately?

They figured out they were gay, and started living together, and are currently working on repealing Prop 8. Other than that, not much...

Hi there everyone, just to let you know,
i posted my first implant of Ivy.
And that was the only story that's in 3rd person since it ends with Ivy explaining her past to Emma Frost, Vikki Vale & Selina Kyle.
Which brings me to ask, may i apply for Emma?
I want to own her because I'm going to try and fit her into Ivy's past.
And i don't think Vikki is a proper hero, so could i possibly kill her off?
It's okay if you don't think it is a good idea. But i don't know about Catwoman incase somebody wants to have her.

Ok, I need to point out something that most newcomers to this game don't realize. This universe is brand new. It's not like we're taking existing DC and Marvel histories and putting the universes together. The premise is that these universes have always been just one, and we're telling it from the beginning.

So, in essence, everything is still brand new. Batman and Superman only became active a couple of years ago in game time (Actually, we're probably not that far off from syncing game time with real time.) The X-Men are still a bunch of teenaged students and not really a team. There's no Justice League or Avengers, and Captain America was part of the JSA back in WWII.


In this case, I'll fill you in on what's happened in Gotham. Batman's been on the scene for only two years now, Robin for one. twy played Selina back in season 1, and while I think she was a cat burgler, being Catwoman hadn't really happened yet. Batman doesn't even know about her.

Bruce does know about Vicky Vale, but that's pretty much the extent of it. He knows she works at the Gotham Gazette because he owns it. They flirted once when he was giving her an interview, but that's about it. Bruce is currently dating Elektra.


As far as Frost and Ivy knowing each other, that's perfectly fine. No one has played either character before, so their origins are open. And I'd love to see how they knew each other and the gap between Pamela and Poison that led to her becoming Ivy. So you can have as much fun with those two as you want.

And you can apply for Emma. But since no one's ever expressed interest in playing her, and if you're not going to use her outside of interacting with Ivy, then you might as well just use her as an NPC. And if someone does come along wanting to play her, you might be able to get them on board with your arc and have someone to interact with. Now, if you're going to use Emma in her own adventures, then you're obviously right in wanting to apply for her and can disregard what I just said.

My current story was set in the future, she was explaining what happened to her, so Pamela might of mistaken Batman for loving Vikki?? And as for Catwoman, well maybe it's her first steps as Catwoman and she once kissed Batman and Pamela saw, once again mistaking them for a couple. Plus, should i leave Vicky alive?

One day her husband and son were killed during a superhuman fight, leaving her an angry and bitter person that loathed all superpowered individuals. Her campaign against Metas earned her the attention of Nick Fury, director of SHIELD, who later made her Deputy Director of SHIELD, even though their two ideals often clash.

List a few reasons why you have chosen that character: I have some MASSIVE plans. Absolutely massive.

What can you bring to this game?: A slightly experienced player with dedication to the game.

Color and font you plan on using for your character's speech: Century Gothic, gray, bold.

How many times do you intend on posting a DAY IN the RPG: As many as needed.

Watching these so called 'heroes' swoop in, destroy million's in city property, endanger the lives of the hundreds of onlookers, and then fly away, smiling, as people cheered them on.

These Guardians. Protectores. Watchmen. Men of Steel, Gods of Thunder, Women of Tomorrow and Maids of Might.

It wasn't fair. Every breath they take is stolen from the people that get caught in the crossfire.

And she was up here. High above it all. Just waiting for the moment she could show everyone what frauds their 'heroes' truly were.

"Tell Fury Subject #34 just defeated threat titled Clayface, and update both their power charts accordingly." Waller stated matter of factly as her eyes left the massive monitor.

Surrounded by dozens of identically uniformed people pounding away on keyboards, she hardly noticed the one young, obviously inexperienced, man raise her head and call towards her. "You mean Green Arrow?"

Stopping dead in her tracks, Amanda Waller gritted her teeth as she turned. "It's Subject #34. This is not the Daily Planet, Bugle, or whatever other excuse for a media outlet that insists on giving these people 'names'."

Do you know how to post pictures on the hype boards?: Yes, I very much do.

Powers: The Crimson Dynamo wears an armored battle-suit that serves as an exoskeleton, providing the wearer with superhuman strength and durability. The suit's outer layer was composed of a carborundum matrix alloy, and is equipped with: hand-blasters that can fire high-frequency electrical bolts; small missiles contained in the back shoulder area of the battle-suit; computers and radio transmitter and receiver; boot jets that allow flight as well as a powerful chest-mounted fusion-caster weapon.

Brief biography of the character's history: Many men have worn the armour of the Crimson Dynamo. The mettallic avatar of the former Soviet Union, the Dynamo has a chequered and beleaguered past. Developed and upgraded over the years, the Dynamo armour has fallen to the highest bidder on the Black Market and was bought by an as-yet unknown entity. The person who pilots the armour is not yet known.
