So, I'm assuming that once Magneto strikes, I can just have some low-level mutant group attack Keystone?

Sure go for it. Magneto and his force are all going somewhere, but I don't see why mutants that believe in his cause wouldn't take their own initiative.
 
Ok, since the attack's moving forward, I moved us forward as well. I figure the team stuck with the original plan to split up. This lets us get rid of any NPC's we don't want to write for since we could say they're sticking around in their assigned city to handle any local uprisings.

I hope no one minds Wally joining up with the gang in Metropolis. It's a big step for him, character-wise, to kind of look beyond Keystone in regards of what he's doing.

Also, I want to punch a lot of bad muties.

Thanks muchly, wieg. I knew Pietro had met Jay in some capacity so I had Quicksilver mention it, but it's a great help to have it all laid out in front of me to read.
 
No problem. I was thinking I had mention QS and Wally had known each other, which is what made me look. Guess I didn't, so you're cool there.
 
It'd be awesome if you have Jay spot Wally fighting Pietro. Could make for some interesting reunion time.

EDIT: Problem solved.

EDIT 2.0: I know he's been used sparingly, but I'm hoping no one will really care that I have him with Magneto's forces. I plan to explain it in my next post.

On a side note, Keyser's made me sad.

I had Harvey listed as a hero for such a long time.

Then when he was injured and started to turn, I moved him to walking the line.

No, I had to move him to villain, and rename him Two-Face.

I must report that I am dropping Hulk. I was done with him for the Season anyway, and I want to focus on Spider-Man starting in Season IV.

"One Universe" RPG SEASON II SIGN-UP FORM

Screen Name: Matt Murdock

Character you would like to play: Eddie Brock Jr., Venom

Powers: As a result of getting the black symbiotic organism after Peter Parker's encounter with it, Eddie Brock Jr. was granted all of the powers of Parker's alter-ego, Spider-Man. Wall-crawling, heightened agility, and superhuman strength. The symbiote itself creates organic webbing, giving Brock an infinite supply.

Brief biography of the character's history: When Eddie Brock was actually a good reporter, he wrote a story for the Daily Bugle. Unfortunately, only a small part of this story was true and Spider-Man uncovered Brock's lies. Now, that would be bad enough, but Brock also managed to get fired by J. Johnah Jameson; and he decided that he was going to commit suicide. He went to a church, asking for forgiveness from God for the sin he was about to commit. Turns out, Spider-Man was at the church, too. Yada, yada, yada... Black-suit, Goo, powers... you know the story...

Three reasons why you have chosen that character:

1. Venom gets such a bad wrap as being a character with no depth. He's just some homicidal freak who only wants to go after Spider-Man. In a sense, that's absolutely right, but I'd like to bring another layer of him to the forefront.

2. Forget that "Lethal Protector" garbage. That's going out the window. This Venom's going to hunt down Spider-Man.

3. I like the character.

What can you bring to this game?: A unique take on Venom.

Color and font you plan on using for your character's speech:
Eddie Brock: Black, Book Antiqua
Venom: Black, Book Antiqua, Bold

Eddie Brock stumbled into his apartment, still tattered from Spider-Man's breaking into it.

His head was pounding... he could feel his heart racing.

In an attempt to relax, he put on some music, full volume.

What was happening to him? What had happened in the church?

He was going to kill himself, but he didn't. A voice told him not to.

"Who are you?" Brock asked, still looking for the voice.

<"Where did you first hear my voice, child?"> The voice asked.

"The church..." Brock mumbled.

<"Do you see Edward? Do you see who I am?">

"God?" Brock asked, slightly confused.

<"No... I'm God's gift to you. You asked for the power to crush Peter Parker. So now I have been given to you."> The voice in Brock's head continued.

The music grew louder.

Brock felt liquid slipping up his face and he welcomed it. He felt no fear. He instead felt like he was seeing things clearly for the first time... through a pair of new eyes.

<"The gifts I give you are yours to do with what you will... but the first gift I'm giving you is...">

Powers: None. However, the Joker has a virtual arsenal of crazy-tastic guns, weapons, and other little 'toys.'

Let's face it, I'm probably going to make his tools up as I go.

Brief biography of the character's history: Well, not a lot is known about the Joker. He's a sadistic murderer with an obsession with Batman. He doesn't have a backstory, he doesn't have an origin. He just is.

Three reasons why you have chosen that character:

1. A while back, I had a massive IC fight with Karem as Daredevil. I'd like to try it from the other side this time.

2. I was told by pretty much every one of my (imaginary) buddies in Ultimate Marvel that my Deadpool was pretty good. He's the closest I've ever come to playing a real, bona fidelus psychopath; until now, that is.

I've found in my years of gleeful misanthropy, one word has been common among the teeming, terrified, tumultuous masses:

Their papers print it in their headlines, their news anchors ask it time and time again, and the mommies and daddies ask each other before they go to sleep every night.
