Heat vision? Freezing breath? Superman was even more powerful than Luthor had feared. And this was the very reason he needed to be stopped? What else was he hiding from the world, waiting for the right moment to unleash it?
Luthor moved his arms up and down, trying to make his robot move. But it was no good - Superman's breath had frozen the robot in place. Feeling his frustration rising again, Lex Luthor began to flail his arms wildly, jumping up and down. If anyone had been watching him, he would have looked rather ridiculous.
But it paid off. Finally, the robot began to respond again, making small movements. Then, after what felt like an eternity, Luhor's robot broke out of its icy prison.
"Yes! YES!"
It didn't matter how strong or how fast Superman was. Lex Luthor was smarter. And for that reason, no matter what he tried, Superman could not stop his robot. But Superman was equally hard to eliminate. He was like a cockroach that kept on crawling back.
"And what do we do with insects? We swat them!"
Luthor swung his arm in a downward swpie with such force that he nearly fell over. It was a direct hit - the robot smacking Superman right on the head and sending him crashing to the ground. Luthor looked down and, through his helmet, saw Superman lying on the ground below. Luthor had the robot raise its giant leg in the air, until it was hovering menacingly over Superman. Luthor was going to crush his enemy.
"It's time to finish this!"
