What they did with Prime in the Movie was awsome, they gave him a 21st Century look mixed in with his G1 image & having Peter Cullen back to voice the Greatest Transformer ever was a masterstroke by Bay.


You where in awe of Optimus from the moment he rolled onto the screen to the very end of the Movie, his Leadership Skills are second to non, he still stands for whats right and the protection of all Human life. Giving him a sense of humour was cool too especially at Sam's house with the other Auto[

My assessment of the live-action Optimus Prime is very simple: for the most part, excellent dialogue (I'm glad they got one thing right by casting Peter Cullen), terrible robot design (skeletal, bionicle-like, lips?) and awful alternate mode (a blue long-nose Peterbilt truck with flames).

I would have preferred a much more faithful version.

Just saw the movie yesterday, and thought Prime was definately one of the best aspects of a great movie, him and Bumblebee were my favourite Autobots, though i liked them all.

I don't seriously think that any one else could ever do the voice of Optimus Prime.

But on that note, the other night we were having family movie night and we were watching Pooh's Heffalump Movie (yes, my kids are still young enough to enjoy Pooh movies) and as we're watching the credits at the end my jaw dropped into my lap. Three guesses to who does the voice of Eeyore.t:t:
