Yeah, the red eyes cheapen the look for me. At least in that particular pic.

This is why I never judge characters looks too harshly until we see them in the actual movie, it was obvious Apoc was going to get some CGI added to him, he looks awesome in this new pic.

To be fair he may only have white eyes when he uses his power, that's a possibility

I think the EW cover provides the best look at Apocalypse that will be closer to the movie. With color correction and possibly other additions.

I think the main problem is his size, since he is usually drawn as a big dude. I can ignore the size if the performance is good and the power display.Off topic but I would like to see cyclops in that gear one day BTW.

Big dude becoming small dude in movie version, we already have Venom in SM3, Bane in TDKR, Creed in Origins, Juggernaut in X3, Crossbones in Civil War ....

Come on, Juggernaut doesn't fit in to that category, he was clearly made to look "larger than life" in a very comic-book way. He looked pretty ridiculous but I still liked it. He may not have been 7 feet tall and four feet wide but they made an effort. He was the "realistic" version of the comic illustration.

I honestly think that Jones's Juggernaut proves you could do a decent practical Hulk that was just a suit and make-up, if you wanted to.

Look at his fight vs Wolverine again. Hes really Little Juggy.

New pic of Apocalypse with white eyes is awesome

I wonder if the Ivan Ooze comparisons will now stop?

It's ridiculous to me that people judge costumes before seeing them in the actual movie. I certainly wasn't wild about the pics we saw of Apoc, but I knew for sure it wasn't the final look.

They didn't really change anything, just different lighting and angles. That being said, I wonder why he has white eyes here, but red eyes in the EW set photos. Neither are inaccurate, but I guess they change when he uses his powers?

Also, probably shouldn't post leaked images.

I preferred the original concept of the suit myself.

I just HATED Juggernaut in X3. He had 2 lines maybe? and one of them was taken from a Youtube video taking the piss out of Juggernaut. Way to respect the character; pissed me RIGHT off.

Plus, y'know, he was played by Vinnie Jones. All in all, a recipe for disaster.

Juggernaut was simply a bad concept in a movie full of them. I hope we get to see the character done justice some day as I loved him in the cartoon.

white eyes and color correction, good steps to improve the look
now just upscale him a bit so he's always larger than everyone else, and we're gettin somewhere

I like the new pic. He certainly looks better. If the guy grows in size at some point in the movie that would be great, too.

Hope Apocalypse's eyes are white the whole time, normal eyes for him would look ridicolous.
Now the problem is his usual height, hope it's 7ft.

Judging Oscar in makeup was stupid like judging Bettany in pink makeup.

PS
For me Juggernaut wasn't so small. Look at him in original comics, he's shorter than Colossus, just big, but not tall as Hulk.
Same Blob.

The new pic looks way better than that cover on that magazine

An oscar winning movie directed by Steven Speilberg, starring Whoopi Goldberg? :D
