Well with the bad reviews coming out now it could make f4 not do well and if mi5 doesn't have a big drop it could easily take weekend again. Hell f4 could still bomb and place like 5th or later.

I think The Gift and Shaun the Sheep may place higher, with Mission Impossible keeping its lead.

Ya hell like I said above if bad word goes around f4 could not even place in top ten.

If it does really bomb. Do folks think fox will still try to do a sequel and potential xmen cross overs. Or do you think fox would just wash there hands of it and sell it back to marvel.

Hopefully with Fox's idiotic logic, they'll deem the FF box office poison and hand it off to Marvel.

I like that but then I feel bad for marvel having more trouble working on ff later with ff two failed series.

Well hopefully if this F4 is a flop, they’ll maybe give up on making a movie on this series and focus on the others. If originals and remake are all flops, then they’ll just keep wasting money otherwise.

Well this is why o wished fox didn't do the reboot. And gave it to marvel. Cause it would have been easier to take a reboot by Ms better then a fox reboot. But that is the thing marvel could make a viable series but would it be familial good move now if this reboot does bomb nd they get rights back. Or would they just end up throwing them into team films instead like hulk.

I don't ever want movies in the CBM genre to fail. However, in some cases it is a necessity. When studios think they can put out garbage films and still earn a penny on them, that's when I like to see them fail--not out of some sort of DC vs Marvel stupidity or 'this vs that' nonsense but because studios need to understand that people won't accept bad films in this genre anymore. We've had too many good movies to show that good and great films are not only what is acceptable but it's expected. So when an awful one comes along, especially when it's a situation where Fox studios, in this case, is making the movie out of their own ego (Trank) it should be panned and should earn next to nothing at the BO. It not only tells that studio they can't get away with that crap anymore, it also helps to promote more development and pushes the level of expected quality within the CBM genre.

Well said! It's not about hoping for a film to be bad, but rather for a bad film to get what it deserves: to fail. Especially in cases like these where it seems they didn't even try to make a great Fantastic 4 adaption. Survival of the fittest!

Yeah! I agree 100% If they had put more effort into making F4 a hit, it would have done well. It's hard to believe the same studio that brought out Avengers, Iron Man, Thor, Cap, have brought out this. The past few years they've set the bar pretty high for quality movies. So it's odd that they'd let it slip so easily. Even the cast were worried the film wouldn't do well, which isn't a good sign right off the bat.

Different studios, all the movies you listed are Disney, F4 is Fox.

That's because it's not the same studio. The FF are with Fox not Marvel Studios. Marvel has gotten every single hero perfect including GOTG and Ant-man, why would they slip now?

Finally snagged a copy of TASM2 game from Ebay.

Btw, Fant4stic is going to bomb, have you guys seen the RT score?

The future is not looking bright for Fan4astic. Meanwhile Fox really wants to cut a deal with Marvel for the X-Men television rights. I wonder what sort of trade they could come up with. Hmmmm.....

They also squashed all plans for the X-Men/Fantastic Four crossover. :hmm

Yup. They would've had to ask for approval from Marvel anyway since they can't just decide to cross over themselves apparently. So that might not have happened either way. But now, it really isn't.

Ys if they took more care to ff like they brought back xmen with first class and future. New ff could have been good. It sucks it was a hack job to keep the rights. And now two failed series. Just makes it harder for audiences to take the characters serious and if marvel gets rights back more trouble for them to make a viable and sound financial stake in the property. And it would blow if like hulk is reduced to team stuff if that is all ff gets for awhile.

"London Bridge is Falling Down" is a nursery rhyme.
Why talk to a fair lady about it? They talking to the Queen?

Several attempts have been made to identify the 'fair lady', 'lady gay', or lady 'lee/lea' of the rhyme. They include:

* Matilda of Scotland (c. 1080–1118) Henry I's consort, who between 1110 and 1118 was responsible for the building of the series of bridges that carried the London-Colchester road across the River Lea and its side streams between Bow and Stratford.[11]
* Eleanor of Provence (c. 1223–91), consort of Henry III who had custody of the bridge revenues from 1269 to about 1281.[11]
* A member of the Leigh family of Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire, who have a family story that a human sacrifice lies under the building.[2]
* The River Lea, which is a tributary of the Thames.[2]

Awesome. I played the first game. It was good.

Ha yeah, it's not doing good at all. It's to be expected though.

It just made like 2 mill from Thursday night screening.
