Peters look has ranged in the comics. As have several comic book characters. It's not really possible to define the look of a character because it changes so often. For Peter you can say "Brown hair, brown eyes, caucasian, 5"10". But then your left with the fact that there are half a million people who look like that.

every artist has there slight differences. Though for more my perfered looks are romita sr/jr, bagley, mcfarlene, saviuk, and a few others whos names are escaping me at the moment.

This issue?
I read about it before, read it's about an abusive drunk for a father that Flash Thompson dad is.
When I finally read the issue, it is not about a complete a-hole like some synopses read, Flash's dad loves his children, and his biggest problem is a drinking issue, but he's a cop loving his children dearly, not the abusive beast the cover made him to be.

I can relate to Flash, one of my parents had the habit of Flash's father (minus the drinking problem, we don't sip that stuff), a loving parent, but when one of us did something wrong, we'd get scolded and hit hard, not mark leaving or emotionally scarring hard, but it raised the temperature a bit.
Hours later comes the kissing and oh I love you my children, I just want you to be good, I don't want people to see bad comes out of you. I do not like being harsh on you'.
