Do we have any clue as to what the Kaiju will be styled after? Classic Godzilla types?

The ones that I read about were Godzilla types, but I didn't get through the whole thing and also there's no telling if Del Toro changed the designs of the Kaiju to suit his specifications.

It would have been cool to see him as one of the pilots, but they obviously want him there as some comic relief.

The one on the right looks so much cooler.

The breastplate looks more for a female, probably for Rinko.

From what we've seen she wears a female model of the one on the left.

From the first draft, they are right up Del Toro's alley, just bizarre/terrifying beasts. It's not gonna be like regular lizard monster, regular gorilla monster, etc. They're a lot more freakish and original, all the kaiju in the movie have different abilities and attributes.

Guys, don't read this if you don't want to be spoiled and haven't read the script:
I assumed he just meant their looks and not their abilities, since he said style. There was a Lizard monster. The first Kaiju known as Trespasser, a word used to describe him was crocodilian. Dengue also reminded me a lot of Kumonga, mixed with a dragon.
I stopped at that point, so I don't know what the other monster descriptions are except for the dream-sequence and simulated Kaiju.

These buttons are giveaways at SDCC, looks like they are the seals of the Jaeger Stations around the pacific:

I can only guess the russian, chineese(or japaneese?) and american one, which ones are the other two?

The top right one give a tiiiiiiny little peek at what the Jaeger look like.

There's two circles for two pilots.

I disagree obin_gam. They're just promo pins.

The top left could be a monster or a place or something else i dunno

The middle is the logo of film

The bottom left could be a badge.

The bottom right is probably a monster.

Just random stuff based on the film.

I think every robot should kinda reflect each country. So a Japanese Jaeger could be more 'anime' like for example.

And an American Jaeger looks like George Washington.

Which is weird because Del Toro said he wanted him after seeing him super haggard after exterminating hundreds of roaches, not for his comic abilities.

There was this awesome animated short of WWII robots a few years back that did this kind of thing but I can't find it.
