So because of my paranoia and living in fear after having read about the elevator game, this girl at work that I told the game about told me to watch parallels, and I did.

And I thought it was pretty good! But I hate the stupidass cliffhanger ending. I don't even know if I can describe it as a cliffhanger, it ends feelings like it is only still the second act, you know?

Wikipedia lists it as a film but according to the director's reddit post, this is some sort of netflix television series, with more on the works, and that was just the pilot?

I'm guessing it's a pilot for a possible tv show. It's probably filmed like a movie in hopes of getting picked up. The ending feels like the cliffhanger after a 2-hr pilot. It acts as a lead in to the series where the characters are now going from place to place with a goal.

I did like it. If they turn it into a series I'll watch it. So it's from the ones who did The Lost Room. I liked that show too

I think it was intended as a series at first, but then got reduced to just a movie, but yes it still finishes very open-ended.
I thought it was cool by the way.

if it's supposed to be a series it doesn't look like it's gonna get picked up.
