yall are some hearltess *******s. People make mistakes in their life. Have any of you guys ever spent time in jail? Whether it be prison or just couty jail it all sucks big time. Actually Ive always been told prison is alot easier to handle than county jails at least here in Ky. The county jail where I live sucks big time! I spent 4 months in there and I wouldnt wish jail on my worst enemy it is one of the most humiliating, embarrassing and de-humanizing things in the world. And Im not saying that I dont think criminals should be locked up but Im just pointing out how bad being an inmate really is and it is not a picnic

Corrections Officers are in the business of corrections just as much as prison guarding... If rehabilitation can be facilitated by this or if the convict had good behavior and might have earned it then I can understand.

All the time prison guards and wardens make "Deals" with prisoners because they don't have any real fear or threats to make. So a prisoner is being uncooperative and and giving people a hard time and "Listen, Goldstein, if you just calm down and let us give you the shot for the tetanus you might have then we'll see what we can do to get you into your son's bar mitzvah in a couple of weeks..."

I'm okay with this guy getting to see his sons bar mitzvah, I'm sure his son is too. Prison's shouldn't be dungeons.

I would have more compassion for the inmate here if he didn't try to avoid justice and ran away to Brazil.

He's in prison for a reason. If he wanted to see his son's bar mitzvah, he should have thought of it before he committed the crime. The most he should have gotten was a recording of it.
