Sadly, I agree about Lyle. I can see him making some sort of sacrifice and die.I hope he at least gets a kiss from Ethan. That'll be a nice sendoff.

-The guy with the fake wigs is hilarious and would like him to be part of the team full time.
Nothing like Constantine. It being a cable show with multiple reairings, online and ondemand sources, it can still prove profitable. Last year, each episode averaged 4m unique viewers, even with the low ratings. It's "Constantine" all over again...![]()

Penny Dreadful has two seasons. Nothing like Constantine.
I don't know what PD's budget is, but the production value is fantastic. The sets and costumes are top-notch.
Thank you for repeating my post. You don't have to worry. Showtime doesn't only care about live viewer numbers. They count live numbers, replay number, online streaming numbers, on-demand numbers, and 7 day numbers. All that adds up to a lot of viewers and viewings. More than enough to justify renewal.
It is a pretty expensive show, which is my only real worry.Penny Dreadful has two seasons. Nothing like Constantine.

But yeah, while I worry, I think renewal chances are still quite strong. If it gets cancelled, I will be heartbroken.
That isn't necessarily a good thing. That means if one side decides it isn't worth the effort, its pretty much over.Penny Dreadful is co-produced by Sky so the cost is spread between the two networks.
You and me both.Thank you for repeating my post.
