Damn, she used the goddamn book!

Great episode though, best of the season, and probably my second favorite after "Closer Than Sisters". It wraps it all quite nicely and we finally learn about things long suspected.

Even Dorian Grey scenes didn't bother me this time, though I eyerolled when he took Lily to the "Glorious Horrors" house. First Ethan (and inspector) in last episode and now them. It is London for f's sake, not a village. Still, nice twist with Lily in the end. It seems that she'll turn out to be a bigger monster (Lily Munster :hehe:) than Caliban.

I am a bit disappointed that sir Malcolm is taking a back seat in this season, but it lets other characters shine. I do hope that he won't bite the dust.
What is unforgivable, though, is that we still didn't get Sembene's story.

I wanted to see Ethan and Nessa get it on after playing house. Stop teasing.

It seems like we will finally see the bloody portrait.

I was not expecting that twist with Lily. Nice.

Sir Dalton just seems like a buffoon this season. Laawd.

I was hoping they would talk about Jack The Reaper in some way, but they don't seem bother or curious about him.

I wonder when Frankenstain's creations start to be part of the main plot, my guess is that maybe their storyline will get an entire focus of storyline the same way the vampires/ mina did in Season 1 and the witches are now getting in this season, but i fear it will end up like other shows where everything end up being crammed in the final season.

Eva sounded like she was chocking on a hairball when she was doing that spell.

I'm still bewildered that she would leave such a powerful and potentially dangerous book behind. Anyone could have broken into that house and stolen it while she was away. Strange.

In 19th century rural England no one would approach the house of a known witch who also happened to be hanged and burned alive right outside of the house. Superstitious country folk tend to avoid such places. And there are warding spells on the house to keep other evil witches out. So the book was probably safest in that house.

Renewed for season 3!!!! :woot:

Good for the renewal. I was worried.

Too bad Vanessa set herself apart from God permanently. I hope the Cut Wife was wrong about that. I fear now it'll be easier for the witches to find her and turn her.

Ethan trying to prevent Vanessa from committing murder, first with words and then by killing the landowner himself, was really sweet.

Lily's behavior shocked the hell out of me. Where did that murderous fit come from?

We're entering the home stretch, so I suspect the next few episodes will be action-packed.

At least Lily's sudden violence made her finally interesting. I wonder if she's having prostitution flashbacks or something.

Yeah, I figured some old memories had returned to the forefront when she went home with that guy. I just couldn't figure why she then killed him. Then again, Caliban murdered poor Proteus for no real reason. Maybe coming back to life causes you to develop some murderous tendencies.

He killed him out of jealousy and rage. He killed him to hurt his creator.

Victor tends to bring out the worst in him, and vice versa.

It's possible that one of her bad memories involved that guy. He may have bought her for a night when she was a prostitute and he hurt her. Or he reminded her of someone that hurt her.

Or she is just more inclined to kill now that she is a reanimated corpse. If her soul is gone then that might could explain why she didn't hesitate to murder him for no apparent reason. I figure that what Victor brings back to life isn't 100% human or 100% balanced. She kind of seemed to get some sort of almost sexual pleasure from it too.

The Dorian Gray story more like. I like this show but his story has f*** all to do with the plot.

Hopefully it ties into the main story before long. His portrait is being introduced in this Sunday's episode so that should be interesting at least.

Wow, its hitting the fan ! Great episode. I loved Lilly laying the smack down on Caliban and showing him who the boss in the relationship is. Lol. Some great dialog and speeches in this episode, and great acting from Billy Piper and Timothy Dalton.

I really dig the idea of
two brothers, one being the Devil and possibly the other one... Dracula?
. Even the Dorian stuff turned out pretty creepy. Vanessa and Ethan have to get back asap. I can't wait till next week.

This was the best episode of the season for me. Lilly has become the first feminist, and really interesting character. She's been playing dumb this whole time acting as though she didn't know who she use to be. I have a feeling this turn in her story well play out bigger next season.

I've always wanted to see how they'd handle that painting and they delivered on the creepiness of it. I thought it would be this decaying corpse. I only saw it for a second but I'm not entirely sure it's corpse or even human for that matter.
