I found my forum time has been much enriched since I avoid the BVS boards. While I do miss some of the hot gossip/leaks, staying there meant I would have put the majority on ignore, haha.

I've never put anyone on ignore here,because this place is pretty well moderated. I did on another site I belong to,since the admin had the opinion and I quote "You're all adults,and we expect you to act like it without us having to heavily moderate". So I put a few on ignore.The main troublemaker eventually got the boot,but it took them a year to do it. So,I'm not beyond doing it if the Admin's won't keep the nuts in line.

I only know of "Joeyjojo" that brags every chance he gets that he has me on ignore. Ironically,I know for a fact that he still reads my posts,when he slipped and reacted to a joke I made in the Spidey forum.t:

I've only had a couple people on ignore. I'd prefer not to do that, but sometimes there are people who just don't want to get a long with everyone. meh

No. I haven't put anyone on the ignore and I don't agree with the option to even have it. It's like that rule in middle school and high school not allowing you to wear a hat and the reason for it that a lot of people get their hats tossed off their heads by others.

Yes, give people a chance. Reason things out. We're all people here after all. It's just that we have our faces hidden behind our accounts.

I have been put on two people's ignore list that I know of, both of which I take great pride in.

Unfortunately one of them got permabanned.

Well, the first couple of times is when I would post a bunch of pics from Comics Alliance's weekly best pics articles in the Awesome Pics thread. I just thought it was good art that others would like to see and it linked to the artists' sites so you could see more of their work.

Some posters would complain about it all that time saying things like I worked for CA or the pics weren't awesome enough. One even went so far as to make a thread specficily for me to post the pics only. I didn't post in it nor did I report it to any moderators, but it was locked pretty much right away. I told them if they didn't like what I posted, put me on ignore.

The other complaints happened when I posted frequently in the Cosplay thread. This was back when the forums didn't automatically resize big pictures. So, I was told to put spoiler tags on pics because they helped the thread load faster. Didn't see the big deal, but I did. Then, I was later told that they didn't help the thread load faster. So, it didn't matter.

I'll admit that I have 58 people on my ignore list. I have a 4-5 due to the politics forum but the rest are mainly for people I know who like to do hit-and-run trolling, be overly negative, or show their lack of comic/film knowledge while complaining in MCU-related forums I frequent. If I see a poster with lots of positive DC stuff in their history posting a bunch of negative stuff in a MCU forum, that gets them almost an instantaneous ignore.

I like the spoiler tags cause they make it easier to scroll down.
