And to those who were mad about Melissa not being able to accept the award on stage....when you have time for only 1 more award, the new kid on the block will get the nudge...

Don't blame CBS, they would have loved for her to have received it on stage, its their show......blame Vin Diesel and his long acceptance speech. ;)

SO JUST HANG ON FANS!

I have a feeling we will be getting a video thank you from the cast VERY SOON! :)

SO NO SOUR GRAPES! We are only drinking fine wine in celebration right now. ;)

Congrats to Supergirl for this!

I'm also happy Scream Queens won for Favorite New Comedy. Funniest show I've ever seen.

Congrats to Supergirl for winning Best New TV Drama award. Was there any doubt? Never!!

Also congrats to Outlander, another of my favorite series.

Kel, I think I am hearing a sound...

[POP-POP-POP-POP-POP-POP-POP]

That can be one of two things...

1) Many bottles of champagne popping in celebration
----------OR----------
2) The heads of the haters exploding.

Just was reading of the win. Forgot it was on last night. But congrats to cast and crew. Let's hope for many more awards.

Ha! I was thinking the same thing. :woot:

While the show does have some flaws, overall, Supergirl is a great show. However, there are some hard core haters around on the internet (not necessarily on here but other places I've visited) that seem invested in seeing the show fail.

Best thing about this win - aside from the recognition - is that it marks the second consecutive year that one of Greg Berlanti's Superhero projects has won the Best New TV Drama statue (Flash won the award last year).

Well Said.
Congratulations to Supergirl and everyone involved with this great show.

Wow. Looks like Greg Berlanti has that touch.

Hiring the right leads helps too.
I think Berlanti did an excellent job in both cases.

Rappaport Casting Company gets the kudos for the casting..they know their stuff.

Yes. Yes, they do.

Incidentally, all 3 of Berlanti's DC-based superhero series have been nominated for PCAs in the Favorite New TV Drama category, with Arrow being the only one not to win said award (losing to Beauty and the Beast).
