X-Men actress Halle Berry will present at the People’s Choice Awards Tuesday, January 9th at 9pm/8c on CBS!

The actress is also nominated for two awards: ‘Best Female Movie Star’ and ‘Favorite Female Action Star’ (Storm in X3)! And guess what? X-Men: The Last Stand is also up for ‘Favorite Movie’ and ‘Favorite Movie Drama’!

Thanks to PCA and Robin (Halle's fan club president).

Not sure this was posted anywhere on here. I wonder if X3 will win???

lol, the categories for those awards are completely messed up

X3 Favorite movie drama of 2006? Wheres the love for United 93 (a drama in every sense of the word) and what about Casino Royale and Borat? Those aren't even nominated?

Looking at that list POTC2 will probably clean the house.Halle has a very good chance of winning the 'Favorite Female Action Star' ahead of Uma Thurman and Kate Beckinsale.

How the hell is Borat of all movies a drama?

WTF... That leading man/woman and favorite movie star just doesn't sound right...

Wow. King of the f****n Hill was nominated for best animated comedy tv show but not South Park?? Christ, is there anything more boring than King of the HIll?

Favorite Movie Drama. Lol. Maybe if they'd mean behind the scenes drama then I'd be up for it. ;)

I'm talking about the category Favorite Movie Comedy:cwink:

Yet you compiled Borat into the dramatic category with the likes of United 93 and Casino Royale, thus my post.

Anyway, back on topic, I think the general audience enjoyed X-Men: The Last Stand so I think its chances are favorable however if it's paired with Pirates then'll that will be the one that gets it.

My bad, i should have pointed that out.:o

I believe so as well.

Although, I don't see X-Men: The Last Stand winning many "best picture" awards at this thing or anything (even though I believe the general audience recieved it a lot better than this board did, I don't think it was unanimously well recieved), that will probably go to Pirates of the Caribean or something.

what? you didn't cry when Borat found out Pamela wasn't 'pure'? :woot:
oh god lol that part was funny, the funniest part was when him and azmat were fighting in the hotel lol:woot:

Yeah I havent seen any awards show's by that name...I dont think so anyway.

Lol, this award show is so funny. I don't know why the winners are a shock. Only the nominees who won generally get invited and show up, unlike the other one's where everyone is invited.

I can't be bothered to watch ANOTHER award show, so would someone please post the results regarding the categories X3 is nominated in. Thanks.

Halle just won for Favorite Female Action Star, and then told everyone to write Rothman and Fox to tell them to make X-Men 4. So, people can stop saying she doesn't want to come back anymore.

I loved her tonight. I am so happy that she said that. Damn Rothman.

Yup, like Specter said Halle told the audience to write letters to Tom Rothman so that there can be an X-Men 4 and "I'll be there too." she said if there's a 4th film. It's great seeing her really being supportive of it, and at least bringing the idea up. :)

She also thanked Tom and Brett for giving Storm more to do and fly, etc.

Now if she ask for an actual character development or, god forbid, a part in the plot that's not useless emo baggage, she could be the best thing to happen to Storm since...um DC/CC teamup.
