Percy Jackson and The Olympians : The Lightning Thief

Aha. I see it now. Kind of.

In my defence, Percy and Annabeth are standing. I (incorrectly) presumed Gopher was as well.

Cheers.

And it still looks terrible. At least they showed more this time.

I pretty much agree...the first half of the trailer is kinda intriguing and then...fail. I cant believe that's what they came up with for Medusa:doh:.

i like the effects on Uma Thurman. looks very good.

its a kids movie and if you accept this then it looks normal.

It's merely good enough. They're going to have to come a little much harder if they want to beat Clash of the Titans as the go to myth fantasy movie.

Controlling the water was awesome.

New teaser trailer.

I'm a huge Greek mythology fan and although this is based on a children's book, I think it looks interesting. This, along with CoTT, will bring the Olympians back to Hollywood in a big way.

I think this looks like a good fun family flick.

What are you smoking? How does a boy in 2009 New York look like Leonidas in ancient Sparta?

Because it's loosely tied to Ancient Greece! And if you've seen the tenuous connections being made between 300 and Clash of the Titans, you know I'm not alone! lol

See, now that's what I'm talking about! That looks amazingly awesome!

It's a great book. My kids showed it to me. Of course I thought it would be sort of a kids book, but I purchased the audiobooks of the series so that I could check them out on my commute to work. They are pretty cool. It's been a while since I have been excited for a movie to come out.

Uma Thurman is medusa??? lmao

Disney's Clash Of The Titans..

Thurman looks too recognizable, even with the CGI snakes on her head. But it does look good.

Maybe Chris Columbus had full creative input on this other pic. He has had a working relationship with Fox prior to this and I Love You Beth Cooper (ugh!) -- he produced hits like Mrs. Doubtfire and Home Alone for them in the early 1990s.

I don;t think i'll like this as much as will Clash Of The Titans but will likely watch both at some point.
