Planet Hulk/World War Hulk

Watch it just be Banner. Then Loeb can call an interview with Newsarama whose sole content is a big "Gotcha!" sign.

I dunno...I can't seen them passing up on having this red bruiser fight the real deal on his comeback down the line.
Any ideas as to who is killed? "one of the oldest' characters in MU history apparently. If that's someone from Hulk history that could be Rick...Or Ross...

Rick was apparently killed in the last issue of WWH. I doubt it'll stick, but he took a spear through the chest on-panel, so that's probably worth at least a few months of trying to convince the readers he's actually dead.

If you think that's bad art, you haven't seen some panels in Countdown.

Red hulk isn't angry hulk :cmad:, it's embarrased Hulk :o .

I'm guessing his little leather tanga will tear and everybody will see why he's been so insecure all these years.

Their noses are entirely different shapes, the red Hulk's hair is black, the dark around the eyes are shadows and everybody has them, and I don't see anything remarkably similar about the shapes of their faces.

But to each his own. Different people see different things.

Ok. So here's where I fess up. I thought we were talking about the two pictures in the same post. The one of the red HULK hadn't loaded yet. After seeing it, I can say that they look NOTHING alike. :o

Oops :csad::o:cwink:

Why so confident it's Rick though? Is there any leaked info or are we assuming it must be someone already connected to the real Hulk?

You have the coolest fricken avatar ever.

Did Sentry at any time at all try to burn Hulk with energy blasts?

The closest was the open palm attacks. From the words of Mighty Avengers, he's powerful, but lacks training to properly utilize it.

In addition, if his other powers manifest itself in the form of the Void, his other.

Did Hulk Take the planet explosion of planet Sakaar?

You mean the warp core explosion? His powers were supercharged from it. The planet is still there, just uninhabitable.

Just finished reading TIH #111...well, the art wasn't bad throughout. I was just really miffed by Kirk's choice for a first panel. With that said, the last issue's art was preferable. Kirk's art borders between "bearable" and "scalding my eyes." As for the story? It's complex, which is not bad at all. I don't mind that Zom is in the background; with the Earth's populous at risk, any background noise (even for a threat as massive as Zom) would probably be ignored. At least they didn't just have him disappear after having been released. It was a bit odd to learn about the Hulkbuster- last I saw it, the Hulkbuster was substantially different- but design changes really don't change the purpose.

Overall, I'm ready for The Incredible Herc. Namora as a love interest is something that could definitely do with some developments, and Cho's still interesting. I'm much more interested in this than Hulk.

You know what? If you would have told me that the Hulk was going to be this well-written and this popular, I wouldn't believe you. I was really dissapointed with Daniel Way being put on the title and I just figured it would be down-hill from there.

I sure am glad that I was wrong!

You mean Pak don't you?

Way did do the opening of PH where they actually blasted him into space, but everything else was Pak.

I bet he does mean Way. If Way started writing Thor, my heart would sink through the floor, down through the ground, and come out somewhere in New Zealand. But then if Pak came along to write Thor as well as he has the Hulk (before WWH, anyway), I'd be ecstatic.

Yes, Way is a horrible writer. (except when he's writing Bullseye.)

Does he still seem to desperately want to be Garth Ennis? That was the impression I got from him before I made an across-the-board decision to never read any of his comics again.

I don't what he wants. I know he certainly doesn't care what we think, even going so far as to publicly give a "**** you" to his detractors.

Well, that's the practical response. If fans truly didn't like his work, they'd stop buying it instead of giving him bad lip service while still shelling out money for it. That pretty much invites creators to walk all over the vocal fanboys.

Hahaha, if I used other posters' posts as sigs, that would be a good one. :)

I lost a bit of respect for Bill Willingham when he basically did the same thing regarding that whole Leslie Thompkins/Spoiler mess. I still love Fables, but Willingham strikes me as a jerk now.

This is a post I found on his message board at fabletown.com:

I thought I read a more outright obnoxious message in an interview, but I can't find it now.

Oh, that's nothing. I even agree with him. All he's saying is that, as a writer, he wants his readers to feel what he's writing. Completely understandable. That's a far cry from Way's, "I don't give a **** about the fans. **** 'em."
