Well I am not going to complain since it is a free service but it is rather tiresome looking forward to it. When it comes it comes.

I agree that waiting for Home to come out gets old, but it is a free service, it's not like I'm waiting for MGS4 or something.
However I will say that since we've waited this long, I don't mind waiting if they are fixing bugs. After all the delays, I think I'd be more ticked if it came out complete. If waiting a few more months mean it'll be polished, I can wait.
I remember seeing one demo of one of the Home houses entitled "Haunted house" or something like that, furniture was flying all over the room. To me it looks like they have collision detection, graphics, and all down. It just seems like they need to work on the physics, placing, and probably still have a few other bugs to work out.
Edit - However something tells me their saving the Home reveal for a big show. What's the next video game or Sony show again?

We were given a pretty in-depth walkthrough of the current state of Home, including a couple of game spaces (images of those later), during which we asked the bloke as many questions as we could think of. Top of our list? Making sure that we would be able to meet up with our friends all across the planet in the various public spaces. Unfortunately, this is not the case. Home's public spaces are going to be region-specific.
If you want to meet up with your pals from abroad, then you'll be able to invite them into your apartment, but warping into the game space to bowl or play chess is not possible. This is allegedly to make sure that each region receives an "experience most suited to their tastes" as well as, no doubt, to keep advertisers happy. The last thing they want is Europeans seeing an advert directed at Americans.
and that affects PS3 users how? Not that it mattetrs but what MS has to offer and what Sony plans on offering are 2 completely different approachesHome is pointless now since Microsoft has their own version of it.

I stand corrected. I just watched the MS conference in its entirety and the new Xbox interface does seem like a rip off of HomeHome is pointless now since Microsoft has their own version of it.
Can't wait for this...
Wait, XBL is gonna have there own verison of this? Sweet!
and this is free, too?
awesome.
Kinda, but not really, it's much closer to what the Wii currently has. Home is like an MMO, it's in game world is much more like a DC Online. The 360 Mii-60 or whatever deal is similar in creating a character, and using a character to interact with others in some games (I think), but there is no in game world. Home on the other hand will have things like a movie theatre mock up (where you can buy or rent movies like you would in PSN), you will also have your own room you can design and show off your trophies or invite friends into. On top of that Home will have features like that mini map deal for Warhawk where you can bring 8 friends in and move plastic army men around while making a strategy.
Both look good, but Home IMO is on a different lvl. However because of that it's making them take forever to deliver.
theres no way its getting cancelled. Sony has poured alot of time and money into this, not to mention all the hype and press its built up. Alot is riding on it and they arent going to just can itWhat if gets cancelled?
