I was discussing Smallville with a co-worker today and though I know the whole "how far away is Metropolis" debate has been done to death - I have to ask this question:

How pathetic is Lana's early season dream? I mean all she ever wanted was to go to...Metropolis, right? Whose life dream is to travel thirty minutes down the road?

I'm pretty sure the point was that she wanted out of Smallville. Wanted to go somewhere that mattered.

Ok, closest thing I saw to a plot hole in "Prey" was a blond extra in a skirt walking behind Chloe, noticing something to he side and walking off. Twice. I dunno if it was obvious to all or my brain is now just wired to look for flaws in this show for fun.

Anybody else catch anything?

the scene where Clark heard Jimmy calling from Davis' ambulance. When he first hears the call he's just wearing a blue t-shirt, when he gets to the crime scene his red jacket is now on him.

I love seeing people having the ability to sneak up on a guy with Super hearing on a regular basis...that's always good for a laugh.

Yes, a silly idea, but I did love the costumes. I also liked seeing Clark decide that he doesn't like wearing masks.

Of course, because even at supersPeed, Clark will overlook his obsession to save a friend in peril to put on a jacket so he doesn't catch the super-sniffles. Plot hole acceptable. Good job, Hulk!

It was a disease from meteor-infected bats that caused similar symptoms as vampirism. That head sorority girl was the original one who was infected when she was trapped in a SV cave.

In all fairness if his jacket was in the room with him, it would take like a fraction of a millisecond for him to grab it on his way out... *shrug*
