Plot Thought Wrong

you guys are all ****!!!

Lmfao, to slow.

Sweet! We can get back on topic now!

Venom shouldn't die, imo. No matter what the script summary said. I think Eddie should be wounded and thrown in jail, as the symbiote slithers away, leaving the audience wondering what will happen next...

Some will say "you cant leave that big of a cliffhanger" but is it really that big of a cliffhanger? No bigger than the Spidey 2 cliffhanger of MJ standing in Pete's window with a concerned look on her face, like "what am I getting myself into..."

I thought the harry storyline was pretty much the cliffhanger

it's like when the kid everybody loves to ***** about leaves the room, you suddenly find theres nothing much to discuss

very true, though we shouldn't underestimate the script summary or Q&A. I am thinking eddie shouldn't die because then it would give an oppertunity of him being in a future spidey film. either way the symbiote will live but if eddie brock lives then maybe he can be put in a dark cell with nobody and have him talk how he will get his revenge. that in fact would be a cool cliffhanger.

Dude, in case you didn't read this is the SPOILER forum.

And ok, I misread you about Harry in SM2. You're right, that was a cliffhanger. So I don't see why the can't do the same with Eddie

EDIT: I'll use tags out of courtesy, but there are plenty of others that won't be so generous. If you really don't want to learn that much, then you probably shouldn't be in the spoiler forums

they can do the same with eddie, but we don't know if sam did it or not. I mean eddie deserves to live even though he's not a sympathetic villian, it would leave us wondering if we will ever see venom again or this is the end of the symbiote saga.

i read in wizard that sandman and venom werent going to interact but maybe i read wrong

picture87vg1.png

but here there sand behind him and a venom web around his neck
so maybe they do or venom catches up with spidey after he fights and defeats(or whatever) sandman

as for sandman dying there hasnt been a great track record for the spidey villians in the movies so ill reserve judgement.

on venom dying i personally think it is stupid because potentially it is spideys greatest threat. because of the symbiotes knowledge and the negating of the spider sense. and the rumored ten minutes isnt nearly enough time to explore those facts regardless of how much of a single deminsion villian he is. for it could be said that doc ock and gg were also one dimensional

as for raimi and the writers, i think they at least did a fairly descent job of bringing the spidey universe to life

i mean the original death of the goblin was pretty friggin close you guys as was the origin and except for the mary jane instead of gwen stacy. that was just stupid imo.

and also i feel that it is almost impossible to bring most of the comic book adaptaitions to life now without changing at least a few aspects of the character and as long as they get the core of the character i will continue to watch and rewatch these films.:woot:

sorry, i dont wanna start a new thread on it (or maybe i should (???)) but i really hope spiderman 3 is at least a 12, i know spiderman 1 was a 12 and then they invented the 12a, but i dont want sam maing venom and the whole film overall less scary and deep, just because some little seven year olds are going to be watching :(

I can assure you, I'm very much aware that these are the spoiler forums and I have been aware of what the q&a and script summaries have reported, even though i still choose not to pay attention to them. It's still just common courtesy not to make everyone aware who may not be of it, the majority of the people in here myself included don't come into the spoiler section to just read the spoilers, it's because this is where the most involved threads are.

you have to remember in regards to venom and an age appropiate rating that regardless of him being a monster, he was still in a comic that is made for young kids as well, and there was no material in there that they would have trouble adapting to the rating which they have used for the other movies. It doesn't get much worse then the doc ock scene in the hospital, that was pretty horrific and will be the limit of what we will see with venom

is a 12 a rating in somewhere that's not the US??

It will be PG-13 in the US, but hell, that doesn't mean much in our society these days

12a is the rating we get here in UK, it means 12 and under can go but with parental guidance

and in regards of "ediie just loosing a job"

that is all that happened spiderman totally ruined his reputation and defaced everthing he had ever done effectively ruining his entire career and leaving him not only without a job but not being able to get another one

if that hapened to you you would be rather pissed at the person/s that did this to you
and would undrstandably want revenge
that feeling added to the intense feelings of hatred and rejection of the symbiote drove the newly formed venom to his vendetta

so essentually spider man made him loose his job, his career, made him homeless spurned him as a lover and told it it was fat, ugly, that he hated and loathed it, and that he never wanted to see it again. OHH AND ALMOST KILLED IT!

so im pretty sure venom isnt as one demensional as we all think, and has a perfectly good reason to loathe and want spiderman dead

just saying is all

personally i really dont like venom but i can understand him

because if all that **** hapened to me in one day or even like a week by the same person id hold a grudge

I think what they meant was that venom and sandman weren't going to talk to eachother or help eachother. they probably just go right after spidey without saying anything to eachother which is the right thing to do because venom and sandman don't know eachother but they want the same thing. as for venom dieing I think your right about him being spideys greatest threat, he should stay alive until a future spidey sequel and then die.

like i said i really dont like venom i would rather have mysterio than venom

but that doesnt make me disregard the fact tha he is the most tangible threat to spiderman

and he needs more screen time than ten minutes
:woot:

Who would think this was a SPOILERS FORUM. Plus how annoying would it get to say Spoiler Alert all the time for posting spoilers in a spoilers forum.
