I love it. Jared Leto looks absolutely fantastic; great build, bone structure and mannerisms for the character. The Joker is permawhite, and I'll be darned if I'm going to whine about The Joker's hair being bright green, especially since we haven't seen how he's lit on film. He's got purple in his outfits, and he's clearly a figure with some charisma, which is spot on in terms of modern interpretations of the character. It's about time he was the clown prince of crime again.
It seems kind of silly that some people hate "the look" but apparently ignore the 75% or so of the look that more or less looks exactly like The Joker always has.
Oh no. Tattoos. Pretty sure they're meaningful tattoos. I know the teardrop is (LOVE the teardrop, actually), and "damaged" has a number of potential meanings for the character, and is honestly barely visible unless you concentrate on its existence.
The "grill" is not, in fact, a grill. It is not jewelry. Those are fillings/replacement teeth, if anything.
It's kind of funny, really.
