Portrait of a Lounge on Fire

Idk anything about the XFL, but unless its played with no pads and helmets and there is no physical contact fouls it's not worthy of being called extreme.

Guys got to label their uniforms with their nick names Marv!

To be fair, I remember He Hate Me, and that was decades ago. So... kudos to them.

Yeah, but... I think I'd remember that string of words regardless of the situation. Like... If I ordered a pizza, the guy arrived and after paying he turns around and "He Hate Me" was on the back of his shirt... I'd remember that.

Prolly wouldn't eat the pizza afterwards either...

Prolly...

...

...

...

**** it... I'd eat the pizza.

Okay...

Imma just do it...

That look at the end...

"They were animals man! ****ING ANIMALS! And you... You just stood there and watched!"

And yes... I imagine that all in the voice of Bill Paxton.

Which makes this a Hudson Hawk.

I'm not proud. I'm not proud at all at what just happened, but... Well, here we are.

I'd never turn down pizza. :p

I’ve noticed a tendency for this lounge to get rather silly. Now I do my best to keep things moving along, and that last one about the pauses was even sillier.

Now, nobody likes a good laugh more than I do....except perhaps my wife and some of her friends....oh yes and @Greens . Come to think of it most people likes a good laugh more than I do. But that’s beside the point. Now, let’s have a good clean healthy discussion about why major movie studios should be run out of business at the cost of thousands of jobs so that characters in a picture book get to play with their friends in a major motion picture.

Here, here good sir...

Our lack of discipline has been eroding lately. Opium pipes strewn all about... Bri just leaving his art supplies in the sink... All the boxes of CC's Blu Rays piled willy nilly in the corner... I'll even cop to being responsible for that ungodly mess in the lavatory, though to be fair Reek was all "C'mon man, just try this jalapeno chilli I made."

I'm not going to watch Cartoon Network for that when Adult Swim exists. No one disputes this, Krypton! No one.

...Cartoon Network and Adult Swim are two separate channels in Canada. I don't know if it's different in the States. Right now Adult Swim is airing a movie named "Murder Unresolved". That doesn't seem right...

I've never watched it this early in the morning. Looking at the guide, most of the day is normal stuff you'd expect (King of the HIll, Bob's Burgers, Family Guy), but there's this made-for-TV thriller on from 6-8. And it re-airs three times today. And that seems to be the case for every day this week. I'm genuinely confused.

So, Adult Swim then.

someone clearly hates monty python

Woo, my Dad just discovered the option to add family members to his YouTube TV account and is adding me, which means I don't need Sling TV anymore and can now afford the Criterion Channel as my heart truly desires. Also just discovered the joys of Locast which means I don't have to fight the weather with my HD antenna for the broadcast networks anymore. A good day for streaming for me, lol.

If I don't see y'all for a few days, it's because I've fallen down a Criterion spiral and have no wish to be rescued! :woo:

1985

Steven Seagal comes home from teaching Buddhist monks at his local aikido dojo.

He finds his wife and B level actress Adrienne La Russa in the arms of Detective @C. Lee .

What happens next is hard to even take its measure. It's not that I'm afraid of retelling what happened. I always knew you had to be willin' to die to even do this job. But, I don't want to push my chips forward and go out and betray my mentor for somethin' I don't understand. A man would have to put his soul at hazard. He'd have to say: 'O.K., I'll be there.

Don't lie... This is just an excuse to be couch locked in sweats and not shave your legs for a few days.

Now you gotta give us what the soundtrack is. '85? Are we thinking like some classic Phil Collins or more retro-synth?
