Sandman and Venom look exactly like they do in the comic book.I'm so happy they stuck with the classic design

And although i'd prefer a more Goblinesque look the costume Harry is wearing actually looks pretty cool on paper.I like it more upclose than i thought i would.Hope it looks the same in the live-action shots.

I think they designed it that way from all of the bashing the first costume got and just made it worse. Thumbs down.

harry isn't a goblin. that's why he doesn't have a goblin mask. i think they did a good job on the costume. i would have prefered a bat glider, but oh well. it's not that big a deal.

As much as I LOVE the Goblins from 616, I'm almost glad they didn't try for a traditional Goblin look for Harry.

Why?

Because after Harry's father had the technological Goblin suit which the fans hated-oh-so-much, logically, he wouldn't settle for some crappy rubber mask. He'd either take something as good as what his father used, or better. But because there was such a negative fan response from the first movie, they steered away from the design of the first Goblin costume, and went with something more realistic. From what we see, Harry isn't insane (yet), he's just out for revenge. He has apparent anger toward the Goblin, and his father, and wouldn't embrace that without some sort of severe chemical motivation (the chemicals his father used, perhaps) but it seems as if he hasn't taken any yet. So if I was out for revenge, I'd take advantage of the Goblin's technology too, but Harry's suit seems to be more streamlined and practical for what he wants - revenge, and to kill Spider-man.

I've seen Green Goblin's Last Stand. Great fanfilm, good acting on the Goblin's part, but honestly, watching him caper around in the Goblin mask makes you realize how uneffective that would be on screen. I mean, okay, I CAN see it being done, go to Deviantart and search for "Green Goblin 2" and you'll see an unbelievably good suit design, BUT that would be out of character, once again. And there's no reverting now. Either he resembles the Goblin his father was, or nothing - he has no motivation to be a rubbergoblin.

Harry is supposed to be Green Goblin II but instead he is Extreme Snowboarder I. I am puzzled as to why Sandman and Venom look so faithful and Harry looks so off base. Oh well...it won't ruin the movie for me it is just disappointing to me.

It was a good effort by WormyT, who's work is amazing, but it almost looks silly now next to what we really do have. Actually, Venom looks a bit scarier here than the finished design.

does the anatomy seem off to anyone? given the position he's in it seems like too much of the logo is visible on the left side of the photo (i.e. Venom's right side), or at the very least it's too flat.

I'm not sure if that Venom video game design is real.

However, if you look at the texture of the black part of his costume it does seem to resemble the Eddie Brock turning into Venom poster that debuted at SDCC.
