Instead of having to search through multiple discussion threads, I thought we could have a central place where people can post and discuss what they plan on submitting to IBIHD. This is for sumbmission discussion only, not for discussing the virals in general.


As for me, I was thinking I might build a snowman today (my city is getting over a foot of snow in the afternoon), and make him a Harvey Dent supporter

You know how one of the examples for the submissions was "Turn your car into the Dentmobile"? I was thinking of having the Chevy Uplander we have decked out in Harvey gear, but having someone dressed up as the Joker driving it.

Pretty crap but it was worth a shot. Unfortunately I cannot do any better than this because I only have Windows Movie Maker, not even a camera. I was hoping to have words on the screen but for some reason they look pixelated. So I decided to stick with one image.

That's really great! Tell me, how did you do it? How did you get the song down to just a snippet and get the close-ups of the Dent posters? Do you need a specific programme for that?

You could try and re-edit it to not have the song. Copyrights might not allow it.

My idea was this;
My roommate and I have batman and robin costumes. good ones. not cheap halloween ones. and we were thingking about endorsing Harvey Dent. And then at the end saying accept no substitutes and we'd each hold up a pic of Tommy Lee Jones and Billy Dee Williams and then tear them in half. Then we'd say 'i beleive in harvey dent' and swing off. we'd have blue screen and intense music and all the editing jazz. what do you guys think. good idea or no?

I don't think it would necessarily be copyright infringement; The song he used was by a British band called Muse, and their record label is Warner Bros. Records. And since the virals is being co-run by Warner Bros, I think it's alright for him to use it without permission, I think it would be categorized as Fair Use under the Copyright law.
