Power Rangers 4.0 - Part 1

I just got the greenlight to do a PR feature for the website I work for Followingthenerd.com! I'm so excited!

And in honor of the arrival of Orion, I'm going to do a list of the best 6th Rangers of all time! Not sure how big I'll make the list, it won't be a countdown like the series one will be, just some of the best 6th men in the Power Rangers business!

That being said, let me hear your thoughts! Who are YOUR favorite sixth (or 7th, i'll be fair) Rangers?

Hmmm....... I'd have to go with Tommy, Cam (from Ninja Storm), Doggie Kruger (SPD), Magna Defender, Ryan, Jason, Orion, Trent (DT), Phantom Ranger.

Technically Trent wasn't the 6th Ranger, he was the 5th. DT was one of the few seasons who didn't have a sixth member.

This is true.

This is why I hate calling it "6th" ranger.

I prefer to term it "Extra Ranger(s)" or "Secondary Ranger(s)".

The term "6th Ranger" really died out with Ninja Storm, which had 3 extra rangers in Crimson, Navy, and Samurai. It wasn't until Samurai that we had JUST 6 rangers again.

We've gotten as high as 14 (counting Doggie, Sam, Nova, Cat AND the A-Squad Rangers in S.P.D.).

And their were nine in Jungle Fury if you count the bad guy!

Yeah it's rough, but the 6th Ranger is to be something special. In one way or the other.

For SPD I count Doggie as the sixth Ranger, as he was the one who almost always fought unlike Sam who seemed to fade in and out.

My list is to honor the true sixth Rangers. Well at least the ones who were awesome!
