Predators 2

I thought Predators was poor.

Adrian Brody doing a terrible Arnie impersonation. Larry Fishburne's completely pointless cameo and character.

Another Predator Movie? This must never happen.

Why the Hell not? The first two Predator movies were awesome. It's just the half-assed attempts at AVP movies that soured the franchise. Another Predator movie will never have the shock value of the original. We've all seen what the predators look like and what their technology can do. But that doesn't mean they can't be used in some damn good movies. Predator 2 is proof of that.

A Predator film can be done, any place, anywhere. Colonial Marines anyone?

True. I'm just tired of movie makers always trying to set the Predator stories farther and farther into the future, as if that's the only time we can be hunted. Predator 2 establishes that they have been hunting us for sport for centuries, when the predator chieftan gives Danny Glover a flintlock pistol dated 1714 and tells him to leave. This is supported by Predators when the yakuza hitman finds the ancient katana in Fishburn's hide out. So why not make a movie about them hunting us in our past? The surviving heroes will have to be far more cunning and skilled than some of those from the previous films, just to make up for the gross differences in technology.

If you wanna go crazy, and add a little bit of controversy, a Predator caught between the two sides of the war in modern day Iraq would make a pretty damn good movie if you ask me.

Really? I thought the FX were really well done. The quality of the prey was a little subpar compared to the first one, but the story itself wasn't that bad, IMHO.

Hype sequence activated. Looking pretty interesting....another movie would be neat. But a game ( a good one) would be awesome as well.

The comments I made last year on page 2 still apply for me. I've been burnt too many times with AVP, AVP2, Predators, etc to get excited about a sequel.

I didn't care for Predators, I actually enjoy the second AvP movie and don't think the Predator character has ever been better (even if he's been in better movies), but I'm still interested in a sequel.

The second AvP made me like the first one more, which is also a piece of poo. It cheapens everything by having it as a slasher flick set in a small town. Only the Predator was kinda cool. Everything else was badly shot, mean spirited and awful.

I know its a horror movie, but I found the Pred-Alien in the maternity ward scene absolutely disgusting. That was too far for me.

Same. I can't see how that was ever a good idea or how they filmed it. Then somehow got it past the ratings board as something acceptable. Then again, I think of most of the movie in that line anyways.

I hope they get Ian Whyte back as the Predator. The Predators just lose something when they move around like lumbering brutes. Out of all the new Movies, the Predator was the best in AvP2, even if everything else was bad. But the way he moved and fought, was just incredible.

Predators was piss poor. I even prefer Predator 2 to that movie, at least in Predator 2 you got cool new weapons.
