I've been thinking too that the Movies could use a woman as the lead. And my vote goes to her.

Most horror movies tend to have the woman as the lead/ sole survivor. I know Predator isn't really classified as a horror but it would indeed be cool to see him face off against a woman like, as someone else mentioned, the women from The Descent movies.

Wasn't Shane Black going to make the next Predator film?

I've just rewatched Predator for the first time in years. The first guy in Schwarzenegger's team to get killed, Hawkins, was played by a guy named Shane Black. Is this the same guy? Or is this just a coincidence with the names?

Same dude. They kept trying to get Shane to do rewrites for Predator. But he always refused. Eventually they offered him a small role in the Movie. He accepted. And when on set, they kept bugging him to do rewrites.
