I have a feeling they will skip the 2nd trailer and release a final trailer at the end of June. That is only if it is still scheduled to release on August 7.

They actually should have put something out fairly quickly after the teaser. They got some positive out of the teaser and they should have built on that almost immediately. The positive it generated is already slowing down...they should have kept that going.

Yep. At the very least, they could have had some still photos ready. We should be about 25 weeks from release, so one or two photos per week wouldn't be many. Something as simple as that could keep people interested and talking about it.

If the effects are ready, Fast 7 is what the next trailer should be attached to and then Jurassic World for a third one.

Vaughn says in an interview that he sees the first cut next week. Reshoots added I guess.

So hopefully the movie is in final production stages with Glass doing the score, and we can get the trailer(with part of the score) with Fast 7!

The reshoots were reported to be extensive due to problems with principal photography. OTOY speeds up the CGI process so rendering each frame won't take hours but I'm pretty sure the CGI isn't going to be finished enough for a second trailer that's more character driven.

Cuts aren't dependent on having the CGI finalised anyway and it often isn't as there is no point wasting time on CGI for a scene which is destined to be cut out.

Fans of sci-fi.....and even a good amount of young females that are wanting to see more strong female roles out there....ie Sue Storm. If the trailer gave us anything, it shows that hopefully Sue is taking a different route in this version of F4.

Also, I could have sworn Miles Teller's character was killed in Divergent...its been awhile since I watched it.

Divergent is coming out next month right? That seems pretty early for a 2nd trailer, but who knows.

Putting the next trailer with Avengers 2 would be a *big* gamble. On one hand, absurd number of eyeballs, which are theoretically CBM viewers. On the other hand, you don't want to invite comparisons with Avengers 2 that will have the viewer thinking poorly of it. So, it depends on exactly how much marketing alchemy they can work on the footage, to come up with a good trailer.

lol, Insurgent is way too early. With the VFX problems that this film has been having, I doubt that Fox would rush out another trailer. Ex Machina at the earliest and that's in mid-April.

Worst case: Terminator Genisys

Anytime before F&F7 would surprise me.
