Prince of Persia trilogy

POP was one of those titles that started off amazing and got slightly less amazing with each sequel.
I played all three, but I kept waiting to be as enthralled in the second and third as I was in the first.
Maybe it was just because it wasn't new any more, who knows?

I just beat the first one, it was incredible! However I will complain that the Vizier was VERY easy to beat. However the battle with the 20 generals was hard as hell! I'm going to install the second one sometime this month.

the 2nd is nowhere near as good as the first. It'll be quite a change

I'll have to agree with you there, I don't think I was ever killed by him once. The explanation I came up with was, the Vizier isn't a warrior, he's just an evil guy who uses other people's strength and magic to get what he wants.

I'm going to install the second one sometime this month.

The 2nd game is hardly worth buying. The only thing it's good for is furthering the prince's story, that's it. I'd rather buy the cutscenes than the game itself.

Sweetness. Can't wait to see what this one turns out like. After Assassin's Creed's improvement over the style this has got to be fantastic.

Part two had a few good things but when you put part one and two side by side, there really isn't much to compare. But we all have our own opinions. Part two should be dirt cheap now, so it's not a total waste of money.

Yea the first was by far the best in the series, but i thouroughly enjoyed all 3 of the games, however and i am NOT feeling the cell shading that will be seen in this one.

I personally cannot wait for this new Prince of Persia. I really enjoyed Warrior Within and mixed with a little Assassins Creed, this should be interesting.

Also read on ign http://au.ps3.ign.com/articles/876/876483p1.html that the game is focused on one-on-one combat. That means more cinematic action and tougher battles. I say bring it on.

No it's a completely new Prince in a new story. Actually word is he isn't even a Prince, instead he stumbles upon this forbidden land (garden of beauty) by mistake.

Wow, hasn't it now been a while since the New Prince of Persia came out. What a total **** up. So pissed off with this new game and cannot believe how much I was looking forward to it.
