Problems searching 'New Posts' or 'Today's Posts'

Whenever I try either search I get the response...

"This forum requires that you wait 10 seconds between searches. Please try again in 9 seconds."

No matter how long I leave it between attempts.


Edit: Okay, this only happens on Google Chrome. On my old Google browser it works fine

Try clearing your cookies and cache. Recent work on the site may have affected it. The Chrome Cleaner extension works well for that -https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/chrome-cleaner/cfghobccbjecjknfimipkglihchndkee?hl=en-US

Thank you for that - I've run it, but although it didn't actually solve the problem it did inadvertently lead me to it; the problem only arises after I've right-clicked on 'Inspect' to get rid of these ads. I tried the searches before right-clicking and they worked fine; afterwards they didn't.
