That ending felt like it was taken straight from the big book of clichés

I´m looking forward to more episodes, I just hope they will either stop the tension thing completely or just go for it, the clichés involved in the relationship between Shawn and Jules is getting old.

Goddamn, does Psych do a finale good.

That ending broke my heart :csad:

Man, this has to be one of my top episodes ever. Gus' attempts to lighten things up made me smile each time.. just because he's so bad at it.

I was sad for the rest of the night with that ending.. I honestly don't think I would've been able to tell Jules that I was already on a date. She's truly the kind of woman you work hard for.

I would assume they'd keep Abigail a bit more readily if she weren't played by Rachel Leigh Cook. I imagine she's fairly expensive for a regular role on a TV show that's already got some fairly well known actors like Dulée Hill and Corbin Bernsen, plus huge-name guest stars like Cybill Shepherd.

The expense thing is a good point. Maybe in the first episode back we'll find out that Shawn has done it again and left her yet again. But even if they're together, I wouldn't expect to actually see her but a few times in the season before they find some contrivance to get rid of her and move on to something else.

Yeah, I suppose they could just have her pop in every 4th or 5th episode to remind us she exists and show Shawn having conversations on the phone with her in other episodes to keep costs down.

I'm guessing they'll get rid of her and finally move Shawn onto Jules. There's only so long you can prolong the inevitable.

Finally had a chance to watch it. Very good episode.

Season Three DVD cover will be orange. Calling it right now.:o

Shawn's blue steel face

Gus, despite constantly trying to be the mature one, does have his own jackass moments. My personal favorite may be in the Friday the 13th episode when he told the girl to call him "Slicks" and kept doing the "thumb-to-nose" move.

The most blatant version of that was in the season finale, although that was at Shawn's behest. And Gus is totally a giant dork, no matter how mature he tries to be. I want another comic-themed episode centered on Gus. :D

As awesome as Shawn is, Gus has always been my favorite. The way he thinks he's saying something in a really cool way, but he just comes off sounding stupid... one of my favorites of that has to be American Duos. When him and Shawn come busting into the auditorium "You might wanna know, you're in the presence of a homicidal sociopath!!!"

And then later on.. "He must've had somebody... on the inside." The way he says that cracks me up. :woot:

Haha, I can't remember which episode it was, but I love the one where Gus keeps trying to steal Shawn's emphatic lines. Shawn's like, "... it was MURDER!" and Gus is like, "How come I never get to say anything cool like that?" :D
