The last Punisher game was really fun. Not perfect but fun. I'm sure someone is working on the next one as the general script/story has been known for awhile.

I always enjoyed The Punisher arcade game with Nick Fury.

Hopefully The Punisher will be in EA's Marvel Fight. Marvel Pulse indicated it is a superhero fighting game already including Juggernaut, Hulk, Dr Doom, Spider-Man and Captain America. Marvel Fight comes out in 2008.

Apparently THQ said a long time ago that the next Punisher game would be for next gen, which meant 360 at the time.

Probably time it with the new flick.

The Punisher game on the PS2 is still one of my favorite all-time games. I hate all first person shoot 'em up games. I love having the character (third person) on the screen to control.

That old Nintendo Punisher game was a riot. I remember a "super gun" and needing to cut down the Kingpin to win.

I still haven't beaten the 2005 game.. I have to go back and go through the levels.. I've been playing on the "hard" version, which is tough (for me)..

I owned the old NES game. It took me a year to beat it. Besides Jigsaw and Kingpin, it also had other more obscure villains like Hitman, Col. Kliegg, Sujo, and Assasin.

Not that I recall. If he was, he wasn't a boss villain because the bosses are all of the ones I mentioned.

It was the best. I thought the story and body count was great.

it changed my mind about Thomas Jane becuase his voice was so good.
I really hope the next movie is as good too.

The kingpin would be great in a new video game since he was leaning towards that at the end of the last video game.

I played the PC version with a mod that put all the original content back into the game (brutal kills, no black & white filter) it was such a fun game!

Oh, and EA's Marvel Fighting game has been put on the shelf indefinitely. The Chicago office where it was being made (along with the Fight Night and Def Jam games), was recently shut down. No word if it got picked up by a different development house. There is some early footage of it however on Gametrailers.com

judging by marvel nemesis, i would say thank god for that! i'd love to see a company that actually knows a thing or two about fighting games take a stab at it, like namco. now that i think about it, what we really need is a new marvel vs. capcom game, that would be ultra sweet.
