I'm not sure, your link doesn't work for me but IGN doesn't have anything.

For a movie with a 20-30 million budget, I'd hazard a guess and say no, there won't be a PWZ game. The last movie didn't really get one either, although there was a Punisher game released around it with Thomas Jane doing voice.

The Punisher video game was kind of a sequel to the movie. Considering Jigsaw in it was John Saint from the movie. I hope they make a free roaming Punisher game.

I don't know if free-roaming games ever work out as well as they're supposed to... of course, GTA games are an obvious exception, and so are MMORPGs, but to find enough to do so you aren't just repeating yourself... I'm pretty excited to see how the Spider-Man free-roaming one turns out though.

So, since Batman is coming out this week and I'm in the detective mood, I did some sleuthing... I found your link, and yeah, it appears that a 'Zen Studios' is making a game called 'Punisher: War Zone'.

A little further looking revealed that Zen Studios are the Hungarian geniuses behind such classics as "Pinball FX", "Flipper Critters" and "Rocky and Bullwinkle". Pinball got a 7/10 from IGN, Flipper doesn't even get a Wikipedia page and Rocky got a 3/10.

Hopefully they've been saving their best efforts for the Punisher. Better yet, lets hope they aren't making a PWZ game.

Infinity Ward would be my pick. They did fantastic on COD4. Hell even the group that did GoW would be fantastic.

I'd love to see a Resident Evil 4ish Punisher game. Maybe a little more movement capabilities, since obviously the enemy would be shooting back constantly rather than shuffling forward with pickaxes and chainsaws...

But if it's a free-roaming game, I really REALLY hope that there is a whole load of stuff to do. The colours would be interesting to see too, if it is based on the PWZ movie.
