First of all, before I get hosed, I know this probably belongs in the sequel forum and may have already been asked, but.....

We know Prime, Ratchet, Ironhide and Bumblebee survive from the 'bots. We know Barricade, Skorponok and Starscream survive (or are unaccounted for) for the 'cons.

We know no matter what, Megatron will be back somehow.

What are the chances, truthfully, that Jazz, Brawl, Blackout or Bonecrusher come back in the sequel.

Reason I ask is that the decepticons that were killed were some of the ones I liked and I would love to have seen more screen time with them. Especially Brawl and Bonecrusher.

Blackout was my favorite in the whole movie.I wish he would come back, but understanding that introducing new characters will make the sequel better.

Sorry if this is duplication, but I just wanted to know.

Here is my opinion on everything.

I am reserving judgement on how I feel about these characters until the movie comes out on DVD. I am hoping there is an extended cut that will have a much longer Bonecrusher/Optimus fight, Barricade's reason for disappearing, Brawl to be named Brawl, and whatever else. The fact that the main characters are CGI opens up big possibilites of new scenes being shot.

That and this movie, with how it has been doing in the B.O. so far, will be MASSIVE when it hits homes in a few months, specially on the HD market.

Jazz , I'd say 60% he will be back , or maybe more chance

Brawl , Blackout and Bonecrusher I'd say 0 mate

For 3 non speaking decepticons , I don't see any reason for them comeback .

I mostly agree with you and I think you are probably 100% correct, but they never really allowed Bonecrusher, Blackout and Brawl to have speaking lines. Just grunts and crap. I doubt they come back, except for Megs, but it would be cool if they did. But I understand marketing and fan behavior and they will definitely bring back Starscream with probably a whole new slew of baddies, unless maybe the baddie is Unicron and they have to dig up these guys and give them life to help stop Uni.

What about the angle (I know I'm reaching here) that Megs still had some of the allspark in his chest. What if he had enough that it eventually restarted him, wouldn't the way the Allspark affected the Dew machine affect them the same way and reanimate them as well?

Wow, that was a reach.Sorry.

Jazz:

Dunno. Maybe Prime retained a shard at the end and Ratchet can can use it to initiate a reboot.

Devastator/Blackout/Bonecrusher:

Three-in-one theory/answer 1. The remains of the all-spark might revive them. Maybe.

Three-in-one theory/answer 2. The remains of the all-spark fuses these nutters together into one big transformer, Bay says, "There you go fanboys. There's your stinkin' Devastator, now ****," and the fans go, "Screw you Bay! It's six parts, not three and he's supposed to be green!" Merriment ensues.

Here's how Jazz may look in the sequel

Well I don't believe Jazz will back and neither will Bonecrusher, Balckout and Brawl. They're dead and I hope they stay that way...let's have some different Transformers in the sequel as well as Prime, Ratchet, Ironhide, Bumblebee, Megatron, Starscream, Barricade and Scorponok.

Also I hope that if an exteneded version of the film is released there is not a longer version of the Bonecrusher VS rime fight. What made that fight so awesome was the fact that Prime nailed Bonecrusher in about 20 seconds. To me that is awesome.

I really, really hope they don't bother bringing Jazz back, his introduction was by far the cheesiest moment of a very cheesey movie. I watched it for the second time last night round at my freinds house - 12 stoned guys all said '**** off' simultanously when he sat on the car - "this looks like a cool place to chill" - then all laughed when Megs tore him apart.

Blackout and Barracaide are the only ones who deserve to get brought back - and Megs, obviously.

You're right on one thing. This does belong in Sequels.

With such a rich plethora of characters to choose from to translate to the big screen I think that the filmmakers should just move on and introduce new characters.

Maybe its me but I would rather see Soundwave and Shockwave than Blackout or really any of the Cons from part one except Megs and Screamer

I really loved Blackout and Barricade too, but I think when the 2nd movie comes out and new characters are introduced, you won't care about those two. Ofcourse it would be grrreat to see them again. But I'd rather have new characters that get special attention then bringing back the others. (Brawl,Bonecrusher)

I think the rule should be if a Transformer's spark is destroyed then it is truely dead and can't be brought back.

I think Jazz could be an exception since Optimus has the remaining fragment of the Allspark, and something along the lines of using it to regenerate Jazz's spark seems plausible.

I can't see how you could bring back Brawl and Blackout since it seemed to me that their sparks were extinguished.

I think you could bring back Bonecrusher because I don't think his spark was destroyed. You could write a scenario where Barricade retrieved him before he could be recovered. My hope is that Bonecrusher is reformatted into a bulldozer and reunited with the other Constructicons.
