Question for the guys

I need to know what Lobo would do before I could answer this question.

I'm sure he'd stay if she still had one left to nom-nom on.

I'd stay - course I would. I'm more of an arse man anyway, but that's besides the point. If you love them, you should stay... despite lack of boobage.

If your wife/longterm girlfriend had breast cancer and had to have a breast removed, would you stay with her ?

Most definitely.

If it was a one night stand, a missing boobie might freak me out a little if I wasn't forewarned, but my wife/longterm girlfriend? Love conquers all baby!! Any guy who'd leave has some serious issues.

Can she get a fake one after they remove the real one?

I believe there is reconstructive surgery, i am not sure how it looks though when they are building from scratch.

Only an ***hole would leave. My wife had a mastectomy and follow-up cosmetic surgery.

Cosmetically enhanced/corrected breasts feel just like normal breasts as long as they're done correctly and not over/under filled.

Yes I would stay with her

now lets ask the ladies, if the guy lose his penis would they stay?

That's different. Now if HR asked, "If a woman has to have vagina removal surgery, would you still stay with her" then it would be comparable.

Of course I'd stay with her and I would find any means to get her well so she can continue to live.

Sure, why not? I've never been all that much of a breast man anyway. :)

Of course!!

Anyone who would leave their wife JUST because they lost one of their breast after surviving breast cancer is a complete ***hole and their wives could've done better anyway, so good ridance

I think this one's a public no brainer.....But behind closed doors....How would we(MEN) really treat our significant other if she were missing a breast?

Secondly, I've heard that women generally view their breasts as a very important factor in their identity. Some women feel like only "half of themselves" in situations like that. So, for that reason, I'd perefer she have both removed, if she felt that way about them.

No need to have both removed, that's ridiculous.

Reconstructive surgery is painful, but it's done all the time. My mother had breast cancer and had to have a mastectomy. What they do after removing the breast is put in a device that stretches the skin (this is the most painful part...it takes quite a while). When there is sufficient space, they put in the implant. Then, if the woman chooses, they can construct a nipple. Some women also choose to have a nipple tattooed on.

I haven't studied my mother nude (*shudder*), but from what I've seen, her reconstructed breast looks just fine.

Thank you for the input, I am glad things worked out for your wife.

Cheers Pickles, I was curious from the standpoint of what options the woman had, b/c say the man does the right thing and the love overrides, there is still the fact that the lady herself will most likely have difficulty coming to terms with the loss of a breast and i am glad there are positive options available.

Of course I would. If this is the woman that I've fallen in love with, why would this change anything.

My wife would often joke that having the reconstructive surgery afterwards was necessary from a safety standpoint because if she didn't, she constantly walk in circles because one side of her body weighed more. :woot:

She had a wonderful surgeon for the breast reconstruction surgery and it's almost unnoticable now.

Regardless of her being wife or girlfriend I would stay. It's not as if a woman would have any control over a situation like this so I would not be able to look myself in the mirror if I dumped someone because of that.

Well, we're all decent internet fanboy geeks on here, so of course we would. But as for the rest of the populous....don't know bout them.

I'm sure they are the salt of the earth.:yay:

Yeah, ok, go ask this question to some of the people in the Celebrity forum and see how they HONESTLY feel :o

That was facetious commentary from me, girl. I already know how half of us are on here. :o

If you love someone enough to marry them and that love stays strong and healthy you should stay with them forever, regardless of anything.

When women lose one breast they become feminist/amazon monsters. I'd be lucky to leave the relationship before she started beating me.

:whatever:

I'm more of an ass man myself, so yes. :oldrazz:
