Question.....

The canopies which made her head snap back 4-5 times?? After the last one, her head would have been in a raised position and hit the ground hard. And if you want to argue realism in a fantasy movie...a BURTON movie at that...then who's to say she DIDN'T die?

night before christmas

:whatever:
It was teased all the way through until she got electrocuted with Shrek.

electrocution which lead us to believe she was dead, but no she returned again. nine lives. like when she landed in kitty litter and I think there was something else.

I'm agreeing with you btw it just reinforces the point, there was something funny happening with Catwoman in BR

Fell through the top of a green house, only to scream and have it shatter on top of her

unlikely 9 lives
no it was just 'luck' then right? she's a bloody CAT it was nine lives you fool :o :cwink: not literally but the allusion is supposed to be deliberate. the phrase was mentioned more than once.

 I say everything before the electrocution was ambiguous. She might've died, she might not have. But the last part she got shot in the gut by a Magnum four times and electrocuted, ergo dead.

Her head didn't snap back 4-5 times.
I'm not arguing realisim in a fantasy movie, or a Burton movie, I'm simply stating a fact she didn't die.

I'm a huge Burton fan (even though his Batman movies weren't "Batman") and I've seen Returns way too many times to not have the scene etched in my head. Each canopy she goes through causes her head to snap forward each time.

It's not even that she might've died, it's that she should've and she didn't. She didn't because she had "another life". This and the fact that she became superathletic give the impression that there is at least something supernatural involved with her character. Especially since she's shot and electrocuted and is still standing by the end of the film.

Oh no I agree something funny was happenig, but not resurrection.

Okay no resurrection fine. But uncanny good luck that consistently prevented her from dying? I call that 'nine lives of a cat' which is effectively a super power so that's that.

EDIT: "I'm not a cat I'm just a secretary" HAW HAW HAW :woot: :hyper:

Yeah, he lost, moving on.

Who else has superpowers?

What about Clayface?

Man Bat - being a bat guy with wings
Killer Croc - being a sick villain
Mr. Freeze - super puns
Poison Ivy - irresistible with super chron plants
Bane - roid pumping, good at chess
Ra's - hell old
Joker - harnesses the forces of chaos
Clayface - gooey
