The only thing that i disagree with you is venom being in the 4th film. Sam Raimi is not going to have all his success be told in another film with a villian he did without doing it. Sam Raimi even said himself that he considers is movies Triologies. With that being said if he did a fourth film it would be a start of a different triology, a different story being told.

Hi

Yeah but you can't just have a villian like Venom in the film for the last 10 minutes and thats it. What a waste. Venom needs a film on his own and I think at the Comic-Con we may here that a fourth film is a definite with Tobey and Raimi....here is hoping anyway :)

i don't think Venom's comin back after sp3.

Yea i dont think anyone is coming back after 3 to be honest. This movie, Spider-Man 3, will end as if there is NOT to be another one. That way, they can start fresh, with a new cast if need be.
In my opinion, i dont think that will work, if ya cant get the original cast to come back, then 3 needs to be the end.

Maybe they made sam put brock/venom in the movie, but instead of him doing the story he will just start there intro and leave a cliff hanger with venom for the next sm director,or him if the price is right. He coulda planned sandman and lizard but got pressured by the studio for a last minute venom story.

Waisting 4 villains in 1 movies stupid, 2 is understandable cause rhino shocker sandman cant carry there own movies. Venom being only in the last 10min is the stupidest thing i ever heard and hope it aint true. GG2 deserves the last 10min not Venom.

and i love your avatar.

THE "U" BABY.
(hehe. sorry.)

The idea that this movie will end with a cliffhanger only to be directed by another filmakers scares me to death. Bryan Singer ended X2 with a cliffhanger and then another director came in and in my opinion did a less than quality job in
ending the story. I now disown the whole X-MEN series because I feel the last one was incredibly lame. I dont want to have to do the same with Spider-Man. Raimi has done such a great job thus far and I do not trust anybody else with the franchise. I hope when he does step aside that he leaves no loose ends.

i just want to clarify that showing the phoenix in the water at the end of X2 was not a cliffhanger. it was just leaving the door open for jean to come back.

All the x-mens blow if you ask me.

I came to Pine St. and there were lots of people there. Sam Raimi had been walking on the sidewalk and I asked for a picture and he took one with me. I asked him how many villians there are in this movie. He said 4. I was shocked. He said Sandman, Green Goblin 2, Venom for the last 10 minutes of the movie and the fourth he said he wanted to keep a secret. He told me it would cause mass hyteria when the world found out who that fourth villian was. I asked when is the trailer coming out and he said at the Superman Returns screening. But what disappointed me was thta he said he doesn't know if he is going to do any more Spider-man movies.

Oh by the way the filmed a scene at about 10 p.m. of people looking up and taking pictures and J.J.J. was there and everyone was screaming and he was demanding someone to give him a camera so he can take pictures himself.

Why would he tell someone that there was going to be a cliffhanger, (Venom for 10 minutes) and the in the next sentance say that he doesnt think their are going to be any movies? WTH?

If the 4th villain would cause mass hysteria mabye it is Doc Ock.

That's what I'm thinking but my senses tell me it's either Man-Wolf or The Black Cat. Remember they had some man-worth prosthetics worked on.

Wow. So all you got to do is just walk up to Sam and ask, no please... not pretty please with sugar on top... and he simply spills like a school girl after her first date?!?!?!?!?

*wow*

He didn't say anything about a cliffhanger. He said venom's in it for 10 minutes. I don't think Sam has any intention of continuing Venom.

OF Course Venom's story will continue to the next film. Yeah they'll introduce the character for the last 10 minutes and then kill him off or never address him again. lol

Join the club. X3 was a piece of crap brainless piece of hollywood junk that just ruined the whole series. I seriously wonder how idiots can write crap like that. Then I read an interview that the writers were basically told what to write!!!! WTF. Normally when making a film, several scripts are submitted and one is chosen. This one a script was crafted based on what the producers demanded. That's totally lame.

I definitely agree. XMEN 3 looked awesome but it completely sucked badly. I hope the same does not happen to Spiderman 4 unless Sam Raimi stays on to direct, then I will have total faith.

They should have put XMEN 3 on hold for Bryan Singer to direct after Superman Returns, but thats another whole thread all together

Sam has to continue with spiderman 4 or else its going to be building up to a let down if a "x-men 3" happens

but i think he wants to be done with spiderman!

It is ture but you never know he could leave it open on 3, do another film and come back to it more fresh because basicaly hes been working on this since 2000 now that going to be 7 years on the same films.
