One Year Later bump...

Lest we forget. :csad:

Still saddens me to think about this.

I was lucky enough to be at Heroes Con when they debuted the "What if" book he was working on when he died. All of the involved creators were present, and I get two sopies signed...one for me, and one for my best friend.

His Fantastic Four run with Mark Waid is still one of my favorite runs on any book....ever.

Honestly? The same thing hit me yesterday as I was going through my Spider-Man ishs. I was like "What the hell, it's a year already?!".

I really miss Mike. I loved his style to death when he joined in the midst of the Clone Saga, and the issues he spent for the rest of the series until you-know-what. He was great when he was doing Friendly Neighborhood too.

Wow..a year already...I was reading his Modern Masters volume the other day and loved reading it. You can just feel his passion for the medium... :( I miss his bouncy renditions of Spidey...

Easily one of my favorite Spider-Man artists. I remember when I read about his death it felt like a punch to the gut. I met him a few years ago at the Orlando Megacon and he was an awesome guy. He reviewed my portfolio and gave me quality feedback, and after all that he even did a Spidey sketch for me.

I have met few artists in person who were half the gentleman he was and I'm sad I wont get the chance to say hello to him again...

I remember picking up the first issue of Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man and I was absoloutely stunned by the art.
